Thank You 😊
When I pick sweet corn from the garden it is at the peak of perfection. No more than 5 minutes in a pot of boiling water and then you have the best corn on the cob. 15 to 20 minutes turns the corn starchy.
👏🏼
Right. But nowadays Every one can cook.
@@scrillscrill1099 I guess, but I like my cooking, the way my momma taught me 😂.
@@deborahlawing2728 Have at it, please..

We use coconut milk and thyme in Trinidad
We use it here in the States as well. I guess you can use many things anywhere.
Yes!

Thank you for your thoughts and support Caroline at the end. You can put like parsley or chives or.Thymes but that’s was parsley 🌿 have an awesome Sunday 👍🏽

I was thinking the same thing...We have cookouts and bbq's.. never heard a black person ever say they are going to a picnic😂
Why must everything revolve around race?
🤡, she can call it whatever she wants 💁🏿♀️
@@sarahburggraf907because it does. Dont question us, question history.
@@sarahburggraf907 Read the history of why we don't have picnics and you'll understand why.

I add honey or sugar and after they are done boiling, butter them and add Fatboy's Vegetable Magic Cajun Seasoning.
Tried it, was great. I added a little sugar towards the end also
Making some now and literally thought the exact same thing!

Hello And thank you for that awesome Comment of course I want you!!!!👍💕 Thank you for your awesome support and kind words. You have an amazing day and a great week.😊
I usually don't put the corn in the water to boil, it makes it soft and mushy. I use a steaming rack and keep the corn out of the water but still cook it steamed its good and less wet.
Yeah I've been doing this for years learned it from my roommate in college
Who knew !! On our sweet cor. From CO
Nice
What did you sprinkle on at the end? I see the thyme bottle there but it's a different bottle at the end that you sprinkle on
Maybe parsley
How to turn a 50-cent ear of corn into a 5 dollar ear of corn. Just salt the water and add some butter at the end. 😂
😂😂😂😂
Nice way to cook. We Marylander's then sprinkle Old Bay seasoning on our corn after putting on a bit more butter. Worth a try!
My mom has been doing this for years and puts a little vanilla extract 😊
And a little sugar lady❤
Interesting...never seen 🌽 cooked this way
Making this tonight#
This looks good can I add sugar? To sweeten the corn. I’m hungry now…for corn on the corn. See ya. Going for corn 🌽
Thank you for your awesome support and kind words. Sorry I’m late with the comment but yes you can add sugar if you desire it. It’s a absolutely great recipe. Have an amazing day and a great week. Thank you again.👍🏼🥰
Add sugar thank me later
Thank you
THANKS SIS FOR THE VIDEO. I WILL START DOING MY CORN LIKE THIS..❤
I’m bout to make this rn it’s 422am
You’re definitely going to love it. Thank you for your awesome support.👍💕
@@MamaRayRayInTheKitchen it was good
Thanks
The directions on pkg say boil 3-5 minutes. I'm curious as to why you cook it 15-20minutes? It doesn't make it soggy? I just want to make sure I'm doing it correctly. And do I double everything to make 8 ears or just add 1/2 extra?
i.e...
3 cups water
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 stick butter
Good Morning Renee this is the best question in the world? And the reason why I say that I have boil corn for 3 to 5 minutes and that’s now how I was grown up on corn to me it’s still too tough after 3 to 5 minutes my grandmother boiled corn at every family Reunion and she would let it boil for 15 to 20 minutes and it would be absolutely tender and Delicious not mushy at all, you’re absolutely going to love this recipe. You can even keep the fire on low to keep it warm, but please boil your corn for more than 3 to 5 minutes unless you like a tough kernel on your corn 🌽 thank you for your awesome support and great questions. Have an amazing day and thank you again.👍💕
@@MamaRayRayInTheKitchen You're right! The corn was amazing! Thanks so much, you rock!!!
Microwave best way ever to cook corn
Eye roll.
Waste of butter
A whole stick of butter for 4 cobs huh gotdayum
😂
No salt??
Thank you for your awesome support and kind words. Put your sought on after you get it out of the boiling milk and water.
What's the purpose of the milk🤔
I add sugar too
Why is it that ppl don't wash their vegetables....they just go from package to the pot
That’s not true ppl do just like Wpp do have a awesome day, and may God continue to bless your journey🤷🏾♀️Wow
The description recipe is completely different than what you said in the video
Is that unsalted butter
Thank you for your awesome support and sorry for the late answer to your question you can use unsalted butter or regular butter. My grandmother would use salted butter all the time.👍🏽
Im trying this. I just seen that very corn package.
15 to 20 min????? dam, I cook mine 6 min.
Good morning Six minutes is fine the longer the better everything gets up in the corn I like my corn on the tender side. Thank you for your awesome support. Have an amazing Sunday and a great week.👍
the only way my mom do it
Please everybody always have the right way to cook corn
On the cob I microwave my corn in the husk. But for fried corn I cut it off the cob and fry with bacon grease, onion, salt n pepper.
What is the seasoning?
Hello!
I WOULD DO THAT RECIPE WITHOUT THE WATER AND I WOULD ADD SALT TO THE MILK AND PEPPER and three sticks of butter or two
It's the same color as it was when you started.
What was the seasoning you put in it?
Oregano 🌿
Just microwave it for 6 minutes and it comes out perfect!
😂😂😂
Weird to take corn out of its natural packaging and then repackage it.
