When I set the transparency to Color Dodge, I get a circle with a soft light greenish color

Sir,when I used color dodge on transparency, it's not working,the middle circle color not became solar eclipse🥲
File > Document Color Mode > RGB Color. It doesn't work with CMYK. Took me a while to figure it out as well!

I was trying to do this with an unusual shape and when I got to the Color Dodge step, my blurry shape just disappeared. Does this only work with circles or did I do something else wrong?
I had the same issue, but when I changed the background color from black to very dark brown (nearly black), it worked.
