Hello from the frozen North in Michigan. I really enjoy your videos but this video made me subscribe. I made my husband watch your Xmas video (half Swede) and he enjoyed it. You do excellent videos and I can see them having a huge following. What you said about time alone really resonates with me. We are moving to a cottage in the woods on a lake to get out of the city and it was 20 below zero (F) 2 days ago. Keep making your lovely videos! Carla

We are soul sisters!!! SO many things in common with you...pretty much everything you said, lol! I do have to work hard at staying positive when things are down, but inside I still have my childish joy and playfulness. Like you, I always notice all the little things (especially in nature), and that reminds me to slow down and soak in all the beauty right before me, which brings me such joy! Staying present to the gifts all around me is so important for creating my happiness. Thank you for the light you bring to the world!

Hi Maria, hope you doing good. Have seen some of your vlogs and they are really great & amazing. I am from India and would really want to visit sweden someday. Your videos shows how beautiful sweden is and specially the place where you live. Its very calm and peaceful. I am happy to see all the beautiful nature. 😊
How could you be lonely if you have your husband there with you? I dont' understand people asking that question. I also live in the country in a very similar environment in Southern Finland. I absolutely love the nature, peace & quiet and watching the four seasons unravel. It's fantastic!
Maria this video was so showing that you are a funny woman. Meaning that WE ALL have bloopers, daily on my part ! ... But you just have shown your real self to the world. Something not many of us are willing to do " just put it out there" but it takes a person who is confident in one's self to do this. Thanks for sharing ❤
Thank You for sharing another wonderful video of your perspective on life in Sweden. Your perspective on life is not much different then mine , except I live In Atlanta, n.y. I have to drive 120 miles a day round trip for my day job in construction and 280 miles at night for my night job doing auto parts delivery to stores from nunda n.y. to Jamestown n.y. and back to where I live. I enjoy what I do for the most part as I get to see a lot of nature and sometimes see family and friends along the way. I hope the picture of the Apple tree was the one in your yard that you pruned and it showed it's love by providing fruit ? Your office setting and the view fits your perspective on life. Your bloopers were priceless. It shows a side of you we have never seen. Thank you again and I wish you and Hubby well.
@@NorthernHeart Boy, you guys are way up there ... only a bit of Finland (oops, Norway!), I think, wraps around the top of Sweden, meeting Russia near Murmansk, and that is waaay north! Wow. Where I live, in the summertime when we get into our cars, they are probably 120 degrees in the middle of the day ... I DO NOT LIKE!! :-(
You are an inspiration. I always look forward getting notified by your channel because you are a very amazing woman and truly God has given you such beautiful talents and be able to share with us. I'm an avid fan from the Philippines and it's been my biggest dream to live in the countryside and would like to take this opportunity to thank you enough for showing that GOD is good all the time.
I really enjoyed your video and all you spoke of.....but OH HOW I WAS WAITING FOR THE BLOOPERS 😀 hahaha.... I love your description of lonely versus alone. I am like that too. I prefer to be alone but I am not lonely preferring to tend to my plants and reading.
Your videos are so refreshing. It’s so easy to get all caught up in the little things that don’t matter. And I try to have patience. I see your life and your photography and videos and I want to be where you’re at so I can work from home and do what I love. But I know it doesn’t happen overnight. Thank you for being real and awesome.
All your pictures/photos taken are really very beautiful. I appreciate your hard work, dedication and inspiration to really make a good and beautiful video. God Bless You !!!
Thank you for another wonderful video and for introducing me to the idea of an 'ambivert'. I also love solitude and nature, but also enjoy talking to people. I think solitude enables me to be more empathic in general. P.S. Hearing you speak Swedish reminds of great times spent in your beautiful country!😊
Love you! I lived in Sweden for year in high school. You are a breath of fresh air and I really love your bloopers! ( I get to hear you speak Swedish!)
Watching your videos feels like being part of a family to me. I also live alone in the country side and enjoy some of the same things, but I love people also. Thank you Maria for doing what you do. ~Much love~
I enjoyed this so much. Thank you so beautifully shot. You sound like you are a busy lady and when you mentioned the cookbook I jumped with joy then when you said it was in Swedish.... never mind. Hopefully you get to publish in English one day. I can imagine you could make some beautiful cooking videos that would be lovely. I look forward to to your next video. Thanks again for all the hard work you put in to your videos. All the best from Australia 🇦🇺
A lot of Swedes and norwegians left for northern Minnesota at the end of the 19th century because the !and was free to homesteaders and so here I am a Swede in the usa love your beautiful.farms there thanks
Great Q and A session. You like your "solitude"! There's a difference between loneliness and solitude! Most sensitive artists/creatives need their solitude to "recharge" their batteries! Your lovely sweaters also look like "Icelandic" sweaters which we can get here in the states though they're expensive! Thanks for sharing your very interesting life again~
Hello Maria and it’s great to see your video once again and I’m surprised that I didn’t respond with a message at that time but while I’ve been watching and listening to you at this moment makes me feel calm and relaxed as I’ve been suffering with a bit of anxiety and anger during last night and this morning but luckily I’m seeing my Gp doctor later today and I’d like to think that I’ll feel ok at the end of the day so until the next time lots of love hugs and kisses so take care and cheerio babe x
I love nature too and the changing of the seasons is a magical time for me as well. You're right that nature will accept us without question and so it is important to always remember to show our respect in return. Your family is so lucky to have you, I wish I had a wife like you, a sister like you and a daughter like you, I think you are as close to perfection that a person can ever be and I love your cute voice too. I am "ambivent" too so I understand you very much! ;-) I just love your "country site" It must be so rewarding getting up with such a site as you go out with the mist and ths sun rising....
l love your videos and your authentic soul, so uplifting and inspiring. l've been following a few Swedish vlogs lately and found yours today. l feel a call to visit Sweden one day soon, hopefully this year. Thank you for all you share
Living in the country in America, I get those same strange questions about feeling safe. We don't even lock our doors here. I guess people in the cities are so used to feeling unsafe that they just assume the country would be even worse, but it's just the opposite. Some people can't even imagine going out into a field and taking a nap in the grass. I think that's so sad, to live your life in fear.
I just finished watching several of your videos. Boy do we have a lot in common. I live in the country, and it was two very big, very unpleasant events 10 years apart that eventually landed me in a house in the country with a garden, and then deep in the woods with my now husband and a bigger garden, off grid. We came to the same conclusion, that we would rather live in the country and visit the city, than live in the city and visit the country. But where we live now the "city" is 2-3.5 hours away, so we never visit it. And I don't mind at all. Thank you for your videos! And PS, yes, slow and very limited internet connection is the one thing I don't like.
I like the style of your house, the clothes, the landscapes, the decor, everything is so natural and exquisite without seeming expensive. I think this lifestyle should be taught in schools because in other countries capitalism has done sooo much damage to the quality of life, people think that buying things is the only way to a happy life. Greetings from Romania, i absolutely love your care for nature and the good taste regarding architecture and decor!
schools in the US would never teach this, (i live in us),,, However, there are people in the US who live that type of life, and so they pass it to their children. it depends on where you live. people in US feel they have to give up too much to move from busy areas. So they choose to stay there,, but wise people are looking to live in quiet spots.
With respect, I have come to understand that an extrovert "recharges their batteries" by being with people. The introvert "recharges their batteries" by being alone. I am an Introvert who has no problem engaging in a conversation with a stranger or two (and I enjoy that a lot!) and need alone time to recharge. Oh, and, your photos and videos are very beautiful and make where you live look idyllic.
When I found your channel this morning, I had a strong feeling you were either a photographer. Because all the shots are so pretty. I am an ambivert as well so I couls relate very much about being able to talk with people but not all the time 😂 If I'm well prepared, I have no problem speaking in front of a congregation. But I struggle having to entertain or accompany a visitor for one whole day. Thank you for sharing your life with us. Ever since I was a child, I always dreamed of living in my small cottage in the forest where I grow my own vegetable and flower garden and make my own candles, soaps, shampoos, etc. I am into diy and crafts. However, my profession/career does not allow me to live that way. Maybe someday, once I've saved up a decent amount...
Take it from someone whose time is running out: Don't dream! Go for it! Place yourself in a position where you get closer to your dreams. There is no certainty on where you might end up but you are never gonna get the cabin in the woods if you don't change your life.
@@rodp1159 Easier said than done. It is not that simple when you have parents to take care of. We have a two-storey house in a 300 sqm lot. Who would exchange that for my cabin in the woods? 😂 Besides, I still have to pay the loan for this house in the next 5 years. I am saving money, tho. I do understand the urgency but some things take time. The crafting and artsy stuff, I am doing now. Mom has a garden and I just bought us new tools. Sometimes, we make do with what we have at the moment.
I love your view on life. I am a hsp and love nature too.Your channel gives me joy and makes me look at my life in a different way. So thank you with all my heart. Love from Belgium. As we say: "kus en knuffel "(kiss en hug
I’m so happy your vlog popped up in my UA-cam feed! I’m now subscribed. Watching your personality is like watching myself ( of course you’re easily 20 odd years younger than me, though 😂).
I never heard the term ambivert. That is exactly what I am...I need time alone but love to be with others as well but understand the drain sometimes...some folk more than others....lol. Love listening to you, your vlogs are a joy.
I think I’m the same. I will retire early in life and then that way I can choose when to be around others. It’ll be great. Enjoy your vids, truly an artist.
I live in NYC and have discovered Fjallraven about 7 yrs ago. I purchased 2 leggings from them that are wool and it is lined with fleece. They are the leggings I live in, during the winter months. I am sad they have discontinued them. What is the best way to dress to stay warm during the winter outside? What other brands do you have confidence in, that it will keep you warm?
I like the word inspirer better (is that the correct term?) . Inspiratör in Swedish. So I call myself an inspirer, artist, photographer and content creator. The thing is, we're all influencers. You grandmother influence her daughter, your mom. She probably influence you, you influence your friends or the influence can go the other way around of course. It's not just people online who have followers that influence each other. Also, it sounds so forced and negative, I think if you inspire someone it is a much more positive word. :)
Ambivert? Wow, thanks for that, never heard about it! I'm exactly the same. :) I love and need my alone time but I also like socializing from time to time. And yes, I can feel more lonely around certain people than I feel when being alone. I also struggle with sharing a room with people although I've done it before. Only exception is my boyfriend. People like you also show me it's possible to live veeery remote, I now live in the outback Australia and it's very far out with like 100 people. And we don't lock doors here. :D Can so relate to everything you say. Would prefer it to be Scandinavia though, haha. Loved living in Sweden for a few months a few years ago, so beautiful.
Amazing , I do food style assistant for film and ads here in the US... 8 wish 8 could show you here some pictures of us working on set...you do beautiful work!
I'm always loving your background music in your videos. Can you link the artist occasionally please? Whoever was playing in the background in this video sounded a lot like a band I like called explosions in the sky you should look into them I think you might like it. 😘
Hi Kristina! I am using music from a music service for "video makers". I have gotten this question several times so I am now researching if I can make a playlist somehow, maybe on Spotify. I will announce that in a video if I can find a solution. Also, makes me very happy, choosing "appropriate music" really takes a lot of time, so I am very glad you like the music I use :)
I am not well in english. .. I'm not watching full video clip, because its not matter... I am one of the subscriber of your views....im not watching your videos in UA-cam, but i download your amazing videos... Its truly very good 👍 While i watching your videos in Sweden i take every frames i captured through screenshots in my Android phone... Its amazing... 🍁🌲❄️📷 Every nations (earth) have great... But other things politics, Social, etc is different... What can we do???? ❄️🌲🍁💐🙏🏽💐
i like how calm your video is maria :) i enjoy watching it... living in the city is really nice as what I experienced too but living in the country side is really different in the other side, because it teaches you to appreciate and reflect in everything surrounds you.. when I moved here I started to admire the breathtaking landscapes such as huge meadows how beautiful they are when in spring, relaxing windmills and picking mushrooms and berries, peaceful hills or forests etc! :) all you said is true esp forest accept who you are. ;) I laugh when you said ticks is dangerous animal haha thats what my husband said to me too ;)
Naw, so nice that I can somehow make you feel less odd :P haha, but I do get what you mean because I have been there myself. Being in an environment where people are very different from yourself, way of life maybe view of life and interests too..it can make you feel very left out or odd. But trust me, there are many more "like us" :D you just have to be in the right country/city/environment/place
Each film further I know enother thing about You and there are lots of commons to me;) but I'm totally introvertic. Thats great we've got internet- for me much easier than talk. Thanks for film. Nice to meet people loving nature, art, dogs, countryside even secondhands. Sweden is civilisated..and in Poland I'm weird. Have a nice day;)))))
Can you recommend any nice, good, informative Swedish literature? Of course I know Astrid Lindgren and Sven Nordquist. But is there any book for adults that also conveys something of the nature's beauty or Swedish lifestyle? I would really appreciate your answer. And I love your videos of course.
“Nature does not judge”. I love this!
Mmm...the best thing. And it always always listen too
I also love this! I think this exact thing about my little animals.

You are truly an inspiration! 💛💫
I love your life...the countryside is beautiful ....Thankyou for sharing
I love your view on life. I am a hsp and love nature too.Your channel gives me joy and makes me look at my life in a different way. So thank you with all my heart. Love from Belgium. As we say: "kus en knuffel "(kiss en hug
I love your sprit and twinkling eyes. Thank you for your lovely vlog.
You are doing great, love, I am jealous!!!!
I like the bloopers please put some more in other videos too...you really are funny cool person indeed😂..hope u always be fine, happy and healthy.
Inspirator. I love your use of this word.
Yes! Very much better than the superficial sounding "influencer"
Thank you 🤗
Thank YOU :)
I don’t like the word influencer either so I struggle with the correct word to use. Tastemaker, muse ………
You live in the most dreamy place ! Have you traveled much outside Sweden? Thank you for your beautiful videos!
Hi Mary. Happy to share some info with you re a publisher I think would be interested in your book.
My town is like that to we all look after each other if the need help all the have to do is ask
I just love your photos!!!!
❤️ You are a sweet person living a beautiful life!

Every nations (earth) have great... But other things politics, Social, etc is different... What can we do???? ❄️🌲🍁💐🙏🏽💐
Good video .. informative and interesting 🙂👍
I saw another me in you Maria... living 'my kind 'of life..😍
Peaceful life🌿
i like how calm your video is maria :) i enjoy watching it... living in the city is really nice as what I experienced too but living in the country side is really different in the other side, because it teaches you to appreciate and reflect in everything surrounds you.. when I moved here I started to admire the breathtaking landscapes such as huge meadows how beautiful they are when in spring, relaxing windmills and picking mushrooms and berries, peaceful hills or forests
etc! :) all you said is true esp forest accept who you are. ;) I laugh when you said ticks is dangerous animal haha thats what my husband said to me too ;)
You are a very talented photographer!
As usual so pleasant! 🌹
We are just very like the same , I totally share your lifestyle and it is nice to see other people being the same so I do not feel odd haha
@@NorthernHeart absolutelly thats why I want to move to sweden :)
@@NorthernHeart Yes, that's true! Hello 😊😘

Can you recommend any nice, good, informative Swedish literature? Of course I know Astrid Lindgren and Sven Nordquist. But is there any book for adults that also conveys something of the nature's beauty or Swedish lifestyle? I would really appreciate your answer. And I love your videos of course.
Johanna Kerstin Ekman, Vilhelm Moberg, Torgny Lindgren, Sven Delblanc, Selma Lagerlöf, August Strindberg etc, etc.
You are so funny I really loved the end. 🤣

Oh I love your photography! If you had a shop on ETSY, we could place orders across the world! I live in the USA in Cincinnati, Ohio!
