Brother, do you have the video on how to clean cloudy water. The problem is no matter how many times I change the water it gets cloudy with in a day or two. I have seen many videos which recommends changing of 25% water using different chlorine remove medicine. I use water that come from "melemchi khane pani " in KTM valley. Furthermore, I have two overhead filters installed with good filtration, one with bio and the other with different types of cotton. Besides, I use a water conditioner called "Water doctor Water Sterilization". Tank Size : 4ft in length and 3.ft in height. Any passionate person reading my comment may give me advice, it would be great help, hope You know how frustrating that feels when you have good fish but do not have a clear water vision to watch them.
Cloudy water can be frustrating, but there are several steps you can take to tackle this problem effectively. Here’s what I suggest: Avoid Overfeeding: One of the most common causes of cloudy water is overfeeding the fish. Any uneaten food decomposes and affects water clarity. Feed small amounts that the fish can consume in 2-3 minutes, and remove any leftovers immediately. Monitor Water Changes: While changing water is good, changing too much or too frequently can disrupt the balance of beneficial bacteria in the tank. Stick to changing 20-25% of the water weekly and ensure the new water is treated properly. Check Your Filters: Even though you have good filtration, it’s worth checking if the filters are clogged or need cleaning. Also, avoid over-cleaning them, as this can remove beneficial bacteria essential for maintaining balance. Cycle Your Tank: Make sure your tank is fully cycled. Beneficial bacteria need time to establish themselves and help break down waste. If your tank isn’t cycled, the nitrogen levels can spike, causing cloudy water. Avoid Overcrowding: Too many fish in the tank can lead to excessive waste. Make sure the tank isn’t overstocked for its size and filtration capacity.
