This is one of the most impressive live performances... the guitar skills, vocals, emotion... INCREDIBLE! Huge fan of this song and his other work. His solo work was in a league of its own.
I have been a huge of Fleetwood Mac for decades, but never really realized how talented Lindsey really is. This solo performance is amazing. A guitar wizard. Big Love really rocks!
Kay DuBrall like the late New York Football Giants head coach Allie Sherman ( 1961 - 1969 ) said about the late Giants Quarterback Charlie Conerly " if there was one guy you wanted in a foxhole with you , that's ( Lindsey Buckingham) you wanted in your foxhole " !!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, I don't think you can put Hendrix and Lindsey in the same category, lol. Lindsey far surpasses Hendrix...as does Prince, Mark Knoeffler, Vai, Bonnie Raitt, Grohl...
James Salyers I think Knopffler easily beats him playing electric guitar. Maybe it was all the drug use, but Hendrix' live performances are filled with mistakes. Also, look up Stanley Jordan - Stairway to Heaven. Only guy I've ever seen playing 2 guitars at once.
Hendrix was a master improviser. He is way ahead of Knopffler in that field. And Hendrix sonically is way ahead. Listen to live at winterland. Or Band of gypsies. I don't how Knopffler could touch that. As for Jordan and Stairway iv seen it. He is a gifted player. Things today are different then 50 years ago. To me everything has gotten better but the content of what they play. In most cases anyway.
He has to be the most under appreciated and most humble of all the guitar hero's of the 70's Era. He even reinvented his style and just gets better and better.
I don't think you can claim that Lindsey Buckingham is the most underappreciated when he wasn't even the best guitarist that ever fronted Fleetwood Mac. Buckingham is great, but there are plenty of guitarists better than him.

Check out "Go Your Own Way," and especially the whole ending portion. He did it with Fleetwood Mac, but it's his song. He wrote the lyrics, music and is the lead singer and guitarist. My favorite FM tune, and a big part of my childhood in the late 70s/early 80s. :)
"Go Insane" is so dark, and deep commentary. I had to check to see that Lindsey Buckingham wrote it, which he did. Pure genius. Brilliant piece of songwriting, and he performs it exquisitely. It's bittersweet, and feels so true.
The guy was a heartthrob 30 years ago and is still one today. Not to mention incredible singer guitarist musician legend. This is pure goosebump material, we will still listen to it 50 years from now.

There's a reason why he is considered as God of fingerstyle damn this song is too good and the craziest thing is that he is actually singing along by playing something so bazzare.
The only thing that disappoints me about this performance is the fact it's got 486 dislikes. That man is a legend on that guitar absolutely amazing performance 🇬🇧👌🏼
I can kind of understand that I didn't like his solo stuff myself definitely a very acquired taste but he fits in Fleetwood Mac like a glove and he is one hell of a musician and guitarist without Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham joining Fleetwood Mac listen to some of the early Peter Green Fleetwood Mac and tell me how long it would have lasted better yet listen to Lindsey Buckingham playing oh well on the guitar and singing it compared to Peter Green
Love him or hate him Lindsey Buckingham is a BEAST on the acoustic guitar. You try and play this at his tempo and sing it. This a damn difficult song to learn to play and he makes it look soo easy. Apart from that this mans creative genius is unstoppable. Videos like these are a joy to watch kudos to the uploader.

I've listened to FM live performances from back in the day, when he was half this age, and I have to say - his voice here, at 60 years old, blows his younger self out of the water! Just.....wow. With pretty much most other vocalists, the older they get the worse they sound and the more worn out their vocal chords get, they can no longer hit the higher notes, nor have the level of vocal power they used to. With Lindsey it's the complete opposite. He sounds better here live than he did in his 20s and 30s live.

Lindsay Buckingham *was* the true talent of FM. You'd think that if Stevie Nicks demanded that they dump LB and start the tour, right now or they'll be touring without *her*, the only appropriate response should be gently mocking laughter, not *"Yes Miss Stevie, right away my Goblin Queen"*.
OMG he is THE BEST! So talented. He is Irreplaceable and two guitarists still couldn’t out perform him with FM 🙌🏻 I remember seeing him break his guitar strings performing this in concert in Lexington Ky. Much love to one of the GREATS this world is just beyond blessed to have!
I was at the old Capital Center when Fleetwood Mac was doing The Dance tour. Watching and listening to Lindsey Buckingham perform this live was just absolutely stunning; everyone gave him a standing ovation that lasted several minutes. He actually played it a little faster back then.
I think Lindsay Buckingham's greatest performances were when he was a guest on "What Up With That" with Kenan Thompson on Saturday Night Live......Lindsay always killed in those......
lori landahl, my dad has said since before I can remember that he preferred Fleetwood Mac before the asshole and his girlfriend joined the band. Hahahaha! @@BigRedShadevil I don't understand why Christine McVie is never mentioned. Unique voice and talent. I agree. Lindsey is incredible. I don't think he'll be gone for long.
Had it not been for Peter Green John Mcvie ( mac) and Mick Fleetwood we would have never heard of Fleetwood Mac... they were a blues band formed in 67’ and were a lot Better than the pop Fleetwood Mac jus saying. Lindsay is a great player these two songs are amazing and the reason I listen to him but if we’re talking about the band Fleetwood Mac they were a lot better ( in my opinion) when they were a blues band. Want to hear good guitar playing listen to “ I need your love so bad” by Fleetwood Mac with Peter green on guitar, he was the only guitar player to give BB King goosebumps, and that was said by BB King, which says something about Peter greens playing.
Just to recap. No drums. No bass. No keyboard. No backup singers. One legendary performance.

Fleetwood Mac is one of the most unbelievable bands that ever existed....talk about true talent!!
Kim Brown i agree🍻
Lindsay Buckingham *was* the true talent of FM. You'd think that if Stevie Nicks demanded that they dump LB and start the tour, right now or they'll be touring without *her*, the only appropriate response should be gently mocking laughter, not *"Yes Miss Stevie, right away my Goblin Queen"*.
Today is Lindsay's seventieth (70) Birthday 🎂
I just love this song!
I'm sending you "Big Love", and Happy Birthday 🎈 Mr. Buckingham 💞
This sing gets me every single time. Masterpiece.
His style of playing is awesome and so underrated, bravo !!
Love it. Just him and his guitar. No digital fixes, no 'tweaks', no backing. Brilliant.
Had it not been for Lindsey we would never have heard of Fleetwood Mac or Stevie Nicks.
LOL you must be young huh? Fleetwood Mac was well known WAY before Stevie and Lindsey joined in 1975 you dip shit!
lori landahl, my dad has said since before I can remember that he preferred Fleetwood Mac before the asshole and his girlfriend joined the band. Hahahaha! My dad was a hipster before there were hipsters. 🧔🏻🤷♀️😆😆😆 Personally, I effing love what Buckingham and Nix brought to the table. My favorite songs are by him.
@@BigRedShadevil I don't understand why Christine McVie is never mentioned. Unique voice and talent. I agree. Lindsey is incredible. I don't think he'll be gone for long.
I know FM was famous before L&S but if FM is still listened around the world in 2019, it is due to Lindsey.
Had it not been for Peter Green John Mcvie ( mac) and Mick Fleetwood we would have never heard of Fleetwood Mac... they were a blues band formed in 67’ and were a lot
Better than the pop Fleetwood Mac jus saying.
Not sure how anyone can say this guy is underrated, I've never met anyone or seen anything that doesn't hold him at the highest level!!
I'm so lucky to have known how incredible he was when I was in teenager. I've truly appreciated him for decade's.
soooo smooth on the ears, not one note missed :)
Lindsey Buckingham, is a rare gem! He is so amazing, and beautiful in so many ways...
