Good to see you making reviews again. I did watch your video about how you we're excited for the cushion step up for the vol 5. But after futher observation of them I wasnt feeling it. I end up buy the stepback 2 instead. Mostly for aesthetic look to the vol 5. I most say I enjoyed the stepback 2. The bounce foam is good, for me I'm little off the ground in them. The traction on is pretty good. Not better than herringbone on the vol 3s but adequate. Materials are good. Overall I recommend the stepback instead of the vol 5.
Thanks for the review and your honesty about the shoe. It's disappointing to see how the Harden line after the Vol. 3 have declined. My favourite is the vol 2 for the thickness of the boost midsole but the Vol 3 is very close. I skipped the Vol 4 due to the fit and will do the same with these, I hope they fix the issues for next one.
@@billyellis4149 I was talking about arch height not length wise, the Vol 4 is so snug in the mid foot part, where the elastic band is located, that I didn't buy it and I have the other models. I'm not the only one with these issue you could see the reviews.
I've had the same problems. I'm a narrow footer and going down a full size worked best. My 1st pair had no traction but getting the size 10 was great. It was a dust catcher so the gym floor had to be pretty good. I had heel slippage but eventually went away and the cushion seemed like the Harden 1 to and not an interesting but lackluster combination of the 2 foams. My 1st pair the insoles came out but my 2nd absolutely will not. Switching the insoles to other shoes wasn't too good either except with the Lebron 11. Other removeable insoles just didn't work too well in the vol 5. They advertised that the shoe was shaped to be accommodating for many different foot shapes based off thousands of foot scans. I don't think with the material selected and the sensitivity of foot shapes that, that was a good idea. A cloth upper with a softer foam that molds to the foot and creates like a custom ortho would of been a better approach like his stepback 2 shoes.
Did my first run in them. Check our IG. Way better than I thought. That’s why we do reviews and not just go over specs. Curry 8 review coming next but 35 will be within a few weeks.
Not even close. ProBoost is a great all around where it’s a good balance of cushion and court feel so almost any player can enjoy them. Harden 4 is true to court feel only but does have minimal impact protection. Not a balance setup but made for that kind of player. Hope that helps
Probably the lowest to the court shoes today are gonna be your Kyrie 7, Harden Vol 4, Curry 7. All have great court feel with still decent impact protection. Hope that helps my man
Those are older and harder to get but awesome none the less. Very much like a redone Kobe 8. Definitely close to the. Court but that lunar midsole it thicker than you think so it’s actually not that thin. You get great impact protection and I would recommend but not sure if that would qualify as smallest sole.
I stay out of the fashion lane as I know I’m lame. Wearing casually is all personal so you gotta do you. From a strictly comfort level, I prefer actual running shoes meant for recovery runs as my daily cushion casual shoes.
I am size US 14 guy and with the release of Harden Vol 7, I saw some Vol 5s that were on sale and I'm planning to get one. This is how you do a review kids. Hoooleh. though there were some negative explicitly mention, I love Harden and I'm still going to buy one. I just love how transparent my guy was. Thank you, Sir!
Clearly you didn’t watch the video my friend. I have a wide foot and there is no way I would fit into a size 11. Took a long time for it to even break in and be wearable. No way going down for wide footer would that improve fit. For normal or narrow feet, I actually specifically speak on going down a full size for a much better fit. I consult and help athletes find the right shoes better than any “shoes” sales people that sell shoes.
I have to say after comparing the new Hardens v5 with my Dame7, Kyrie 4, Kobe NXT FF, Jordan 0.3 and my Harden Stepbacks, I have to say the Harden V5 is not that great and how did they get the fitting so wrong. My heals keep sliding up compared to other shoes and cheaper ones that are more comfortable and useable.
Harden Vol. 5 is probably the worst Harden’s ever made, the whole shoes are too stiff, the traction is not grippy enough & the heel slippage, better go down half a size or full size (e.g. I wore US 11 for Kyrie’s, wear this for US 10.5 or US 10)
Nice to see you're back with a review
We miss u brooo!!! Glad ur back we here from day 1💯
Made my day bro. Appreciate the love and support ✊🏽🙏🏽

Nice... that was the most professional way to say they are bad that I have ever heard... 😁.
😂😂😂, I always try and find the positive in a shoe and who may possibly enjoy them. Some are way harder to do that than others 😆
Thanks I have a wide foot and will look for other options. Thanks
Continue to give us the raw!!

You are the Truth bro!!!
The Harden Vol 4 still is one of my favorite Adidas models ever. The Vol 5, I wouldn’t touch with a 10-ft pole..
The shirt is 🔥
Will u be doing a review on the Jordan 35?
Did my first run in them. Check our IG. Way better than I thought. That’s why we do reviews and not just go over specs. Curry 8 review coming next but 35 will be within a few weeks.
Do you feel like the harden 4 has better cushion than the pro boost ?

@@sneakergearz Helps a lot ! Thank you mate ! Also, have you found good traction in the harden pride colorway ?
can somebody help me??I need shoes with the thinnest sole. I want be more smallest

I got mine for like 50$ it's good enough
Adidas outside lengths are big
u was supposed to get a size 11 it fits perfect you would kno if you sold shoes

Easily one of the worst shoes of the year. At least we can guarantee the 6 will be better
This is the first harden I really don't like they look like a cartoon
Ballin with 2 different shoes on fuckin G shit
Wearing harden vol 5 = Wearing bricks
I see no lie 😱😂. I will say the same cushion midsole in the furture natural feels 10x better so it really is just the Hardens.
Adidas try to be pretentious by using volume
i dont care i just need tough durable shoes for our rough african courts
Ugly .. heavy .. and harsh -) .. nice .... succcess ..
