Officers build a bond with their K-9’s and it’s always great to see how proud they are of their partners and how much they love and care about their partners
My uncle was a K9 officer for a little under a decade and the only reason he quit was because the dog he started his career with was retiring and he couldn’t bring himself to work with another dog. In his own words, “It’d be like cheating on my wife, I just can’t do it”. Him and his dog Pinto were two peas in a pod

My nephew was a K9 officer as well. Both were shot in the line of duty, but survived by the grace of God, but this year, his K9 passed away suddenly. After surviving the attack, they retired the K9 and let my nephew keep him. He is soooo 💔 for his sudden demise. This story was very touching ❤. I am glad she was found safe.❤
@@derpman8494The love and bond we have with out dogs. My 3 dogs i grew up with since there birth and they died of old age. Getting a new dog will not replace them in my heart so thats why i cant come to ever get a new dog 😢

@@annamichelle5996 I agree with him. Finding the kid is way more important than him feeling safe in that one singular moment. Hes gonna feel safe back with Mom either way. Don't matter how safe he feels if he's still lost somewhere. I'm not saying that it isn't nice to do both but clearly one is more a priority than the other. They are not equally important.

I don’t think you directly inherit autism and it is something that is developed not obtained at birth as far as I know, but I think you can inherit genes that cause it to be more likely to develop
Diagnosed Autistic person here; it tends to run in families. One problem diagnosing it is that things overlap; people can be misdiagnosed with anxiety. PTSD also has some things in common with ASD which can make it difficult to discern what it is. If someone has trauma it's easy to just assume things are from their trauma, which was the case for me. Sometimes people don't realise because they're surrounded by others who also haven't been diagnosed.

To find a parent’s lost child for them is probably one of the best thing you can do for them. Good job

I’m sure this made him feel safe and the explanation that his mom was worried would have been encouraging too. Allowing this sweet boy yo pet the k9 would have been a nice thing to do yo make him feel safe. Good job police officers. All officers need to learn how to deal with disabled list children to ensure when they’re found they don’t get overwhelmed by dog snd officer. ❤❤👏👏👏

As a mother when that boys hand reached the officer I literally cried tears of relief. You don’t often see these stories with happy endings and I’m SO THANKFUL this momma got her baby back 😭💕💕💕
Thankfully most stories like this do have happy endings tho, that's why you don't hear about them cause they're not news when a child is found quickly and safe

Elderly people and young children especially those who have autism or dementia should have bracelets or shoes that have GPS. My disabled son went missing in 2017 and my other sons and I as well as the police in 2 cities spent almost an hour looking for him. Luckily he was found at a playground near where we used to live. A neighbor called the police to say he had been just sitting there for a couple of hours. He was 40 when this happened and it was the most horrible feeling to think I might never see him again. He told me God was with him when they brought him home to me.
I'm very happy this turned out good. What a scary situation

@brendasidmore2731 it's a tracker made specifically for autistic kids or others who manage to wander off. I believe (don't quote me on this) but I believe they're also able to give police access to it if needed to retrieve the person from where they went to (like if on another's property or something)
