This is the first year I can remember there being proper investment at every position on the field with a coaching staff that I believe in. Even some of our most dominant years, it felt like we always had a position or 2 that were missing what felt like a needed addition.
Player personalities in the locker room are critical. Most fans, I believe, do not appreciate the huge importance of having mentally healthy and open players on a team. I am a psychotherapist and I see this a lot. Ability to get listen and learn and be a team player matter very very much.
You said what I’ve been thinking. If this defense lives up to its potential, we won’t have Hafley for long. Hopefully it takes him 3 or so years before he gets his own HC gig.
@@packers12to80 hafley has talked about how he didn't enjoy being HC in the college scene and just wanted to be a great DC. I bet we have him for 3-5 years. Also if it brings the lombardi home then I'd take that over anything lol
Saying 10VE won’t be as good as russel and joe is the most delulu take I’ve heard! He will be better! By far! I can’t wait for Jordan to continue to prove y’all wrong! Go Pack Go!! 💚💛💚💛💚💛
I just like what he saying. Its his enthusiasm and the ability to no be scared to add speed and have the defensive line pushing fast through the line and letting the linebackers cover the tackling.
After this defense is installed after all the hype the only thing scary are the zebras when they start calling penalties for over agressiveness. My hope is that jeff hafley will stay awhile atleast the years of service matching both petine and barry
Look I'm not saying that Hafleys defense is going to be better but I can at least say I'm excited to see it. Because under Barry we knew they were going to be underperforming and safe.
Its 100% possible that happens. However after 1 yr? Thats almost 100% not happening. But if he turns this defense around a couple yrs down the road..he will get some looks. Unless they turn around and win the superbowl this season. No shot he moves on ...yet
That's what I see as well, Hafley will be very good DC and we need to find a way to keep him here. Look what happened to Phily when they lost there COs. You spend all this time and money building a great roster and then the thing falls apart because you let a key mind walk. You got to be able to keep people like that, and we know it's all about money and contractual job security. I'd Hafley because as good as we think he will then we need to do whatever it takes to invite him to chose to stay as our DC for the next 5 years over closing a HC job. I know, not easy task, but nothing is impossible.
GB stocking Jacobs, Dillon, and Loyd shows they are hoping Jordan keeps uo the growth but are preparing in case that gets taken away agian or he regressed a little bit Good gm planning. Create a great running attack, then start working on your passing game
Ummmmm 🤔…. regardless of the point that you’re trying to make you still need to be able to run the football!!! Having a respectable running game opens up everything else…. You don’t want to become a one-dimensional team like Green Bay was before Aaron Jones… I truly believe in love he has all the tools to be a pro bowl/championship player!!!! Every quarterback has its flaws. No one’s perfect… take AR12 for instance at times he played it too safe with his throws to his wide receivers…. I think he was to worried about his stats, & touchdown to interception ratio… he didn’t want to let it fly or throw those 50-50 balls as we call it….. love will be just fine he’s going to make mistakes this season just like any other sophomore quarterback, but I guarantee you that he’s going to make more game-winning plays the mistakes!! The offense isn’t what I’m concerned about is the other side (Defense) as well as special teams…. but I feel good about this group having felt this way In in a long time about this defense!!! we got something special from CoachIng…. To The players… if it all comes together, man watch out!!!! GPG
You'll never have a perfect Jordan Love, he is who he is and overall is pretty damn good than pretty damn bad!! There will always be the head scratcher throws from Love, even guys like Peyton Manning had some pretty pathetic throws and he was a first ballot HOF'er!! I'll take Love's pre-snap ability to read a defense over Rodgers or Favre the way he was dialed in the end of the season last year!! LaFluer might be as good as Holmgren at coaching up QB's and getting the most out of them. I would bet Love would've been a bust under 97% of any of the other coaches in the league! Why are we talking about Reed? Reed ended up more valuable than Zay Flowers, who we passed on!! Didn't the Lions get the best rookie TE ever and we passed on him??
How many head scratchers did Favre have. If Love is just Love we will be fine. I like the fact he takes risks. Some of his throws you are like, what was that. But I think those get better this year but still think he will be that kind of QB and that's fine with me💪
The Detroit Lions are going to be close to unbeatable this year. Jared Goff is going to play at another level this year and Lions hit home run with best cornerback in the draft which will make defense on another level. Detroit Lions will win Super Bowl this year. Green Bay Packers should be among best ten teams and must get another wide receiver in draft next year and they can win couple of Super Bowls in next few years.
GB has done more to improve their team this off-season than Detroit has. Further, acquiring more wide receivers is the very last thing Green Bay needs to do. Their receiver room is overflowing with talent. It's going to explode this year. Detroit is going to be very good but they'll be 0-2 vs Green Bay.
We absolutely smoked Detroit in Detroit last year….in front of the entire country. Please just do yourself a favor and don’t comment this channel again thinking Arnold is the key to a Detroit Super Bowl 😂

I ABSOLUTELY AGREE!!!! 👍🏽
Wyatt's college tape showed amazing quickness off the snap. Hope to see it in pros.

Hafley brings a lot of hope to our defense. We will be absolutely electric if our defense can play aggressive at an effective level.
Jeff Hafley has me truly excited for a packers defense. I havent been able to say that, since Claymaker, & Woodson were roaming around out there.
I just like what he saying. Its his enthusiasm and the ability to no be scared to add speed and have the defensive line pushing fast through the line and letting the linebackers cover the tackling.
You cut off the best part! What Hafley says right after the clip you showed got me insanely excited!
the more i hear from Jeff Hafley the more i like him and think the defense is on great hands
Hey Peter, that shirt you have on tell the whole story! Gopackgo

O great, we're have a good defense for 1 season. Cause Jeff's gonna be a head coach after this season lol. Thx for that
Maybe maybe not. We’ll see how it plays out
Teams always poach coaches from the Superbowl champs.
If we win a SB this year maybe but I don’t think he will go until he satisfied he can’t do anymore

You may not be as cool as bas, or as goofy as Grossi, but you're the best.
Why compare they're obviously doing fairly different styles
Bas is ‘cool’? Lol
Relatively bro. Bar not super high.

I wouldn’t trade Jayden reed for rashee rice lol
Any one who watches big10 football could yell you Jayden Reed would excel in the nfl
Pretty early to say he can't hit deep throws consistently

That was GB offense in the 60s . Run to Daylight Then throw the " Bomb when the DBs Come up to help stop the Run
It shouldnt be that hard to install a new defense..................."You know all the stuff you learned under Joe Barry? .......Just do the opposite"
It will take a season.
