Don't Stop Me Now (...Revisited Credits Mix) - REMASTERED 16mm VIDEO High-Definition

- A mix I made of Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now" from the album "Jazz" (1978), in the style of the rendition of the song that features at the start of the credits of the "Bohemian Rhapsody" (2018) film.
I liked the style of the song featured during the film's credits which had the vocal-only slow intro as recreated on this mix and the rhythm guitar playing throughout the song, but it didn't have the newly-recorded guitar solo as featured on the 2018 "...Revisited" version on the film's own soundtrack album.
However, the version on the film's album didn't feature the slow intro that I liked from the film, so I decided to combine this with the version featuring both the rhythm guitars and the new solo.
Furthermore, I couldn't rip the audio straight from the film as it had the audience cheer from the end of the Live Aid set over the top.
If you listen to the original 1978 Album version of the song, you'll notice there is no rhythm guitar at all and Brian only actually plays guitar during the solo. You can see him playing on set throughout the entire original music video, but the guitar track was ultimately omitted from the final Album mix. These guitars were recorded and finally released in 2011 as part of the series of album remasters and re-issues as Track 3 on Disc 2: "Don't Stop Me Now (With Long-Lost Guitars)," which can be heard here: • Don't Stop Me Now (Wit... - This version not only features the rhythm guitar track originally recorded in 1978 but was missing on the Album release, but also an entirely different solo to both the original 1978 Album version and the 2018 Revisited version.
To summarise, this version features:
-Slow, vocal-only intro from the 2018 film.
-Rhythm guitar throughout the whole song from "Long-Lost Guitars" and "...Revisited" versions.
-The newly-recorded guitar solo from the "...Revisited" version.
To top it all off, the UA-cam versions of the Official Music Video are all low-quality (360p), so I downloaded a video remastered from the original 16mm transfer by QueenZone member "Chief Mouse" (Rudolf Greeva). Available here: www.queenzone.com/forums/14221...

Lyrics written by Freddie Mercury:
Tonight, I'm gonna have myself a real good time
I feel alive and the world I'll turn it inside out, yeah
And floating around in ecstasy
So don't stop me now don't stop me
'Cause I'm having a good time, having a good time
I'm a shooting star, leaping through the sky
Like a tiger defying the laws of gravity
I'm a racing car, passing by like Lady Godiva
I'm gonna go, go, go
There's no stopping me
I'm burnin' through the sky, yeah
Two hundred degrees
That's why they call me Mister Fahrenheit
I'm traveling at the speed of light
I wanna make a supersonic man out of you
Don't stop me now, I'm having such a good time
I'm having a ball
Don't stop me now
If you wanna have a good time, just give me a call
Don't stop me now ('cause I'm having a good time)
Don't stop me now (yes, I'm havin' a good time)
I don't want to stop at all
Yeah, I'm a rocket ship on my way to Mars
On a collision course
I am a satellite, I'm out of control
I am a sex machine, ready to reload
Like an atom bomb about to
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh explode
I'm burnin' through the sky, yeah
Two hundred degrees
That's why they call me Mister Fahrenheit
I'm traveling at the speed of light
I wanna make a supersonic woman of you
Don't stop me, don't stop me
Don't stop me, hey, hey, hey
Don't stop me, don't stop me
Ooh ooh ooh, I like it
Don't stop me, don't stop me
Have a good time, good time
Don't stop me, don't stop me, ah
Oh yeah
Alright
Oh, I'm burnin' through the sky, yeah
Two hundred degrees
That's why they call me Mister Fahrenheit
I'm traveling at the speed of light
I wanna make a supersonic man out of you
Don't stop me now, I'm having such a good time
I'm having a ball
Don't stop me now
If you wanna have a good time (wooh)
Just give me a call (alright)
Don't stop me now ('cause I'm having a good time, yeah yeah)
Don't stop me now (yes, I'm havin' a good time)
I don't want to stop at all
La da da da daah
Da da da haa
Ha da da ha ha haaa
Ha da daa ha da da aaa
Ooh ooh ooh
Fun fact: The guitars are added in the movie but the guitars are not audible in the album version.
and I never heard of that version with such as added guitars to the song but I like it! I like how you recreated the intro like the credits. Did Brian May Rerecord this to add guitars to the movie version of this song?
It's less about them being "inaudible," but rather not included in the final mix of the standard 1978 Album release of "Jazz" altogether. However, Brian wrote guitar parts for this song and they were definitely recorded, but ultimately not included in the final release.
There are two ways to tell:
1) If you watch the video, you can see Brian is playing his guitar on set for the video throughout the duration of the song, not just during the solo.
2) On the 2011 "Deluxe Edition" re-issue of the album Jazz, Track 3 on Disc 2 is a version of the song called "Don't Stop Me Now (With Long-Lost Guitars)," which can be heard here: ua-cam.com/video/BvSUJh4ZWXo/v-deo.html - This version not only features the rhythm guitar track originally recorded in 1978 but was missing on the album release, but also an entirely different solo to both the original 1978 Album version and this 2018 Revisited version.
The version which features as the basis for THIS video's audio track is "Don't Stop Me Now (...Revisited)," which is Track 21 from the 2018 album "Bohemian Rhapsody (The Original Soundtrack)" (the accompaniment compilation album which released alongside the film's release, featuring its soundtrack). This track was, as its name suggests, revisited by Brian and Roger, i.e., a whole new rhythm guitar track and guitar solo was recorded for this new version of the song.
This Revisited version from the film's soundtrack album did not feature the same slow intro to the song which featured during the film's credits - and which is recreated in this video.
And interestingly, the version of the song which played in the film (with the slow intro) seemed like a new mix altogether, featuring the rhythm guitar which features in the 2011 re-issue and the 2018 Revisited versions, but using the original 1978 Album guitar solo - so this is a mix entirely unique to the film.
I enjoyed both elements of these two versions, and so with this mix I aimed to recreate the slow intro from the film, as well as using the remastered 2018 version of the song featuring the Revisited rhythm guitar and new guitar solo.
ONE FINAL INTERESTING NOTE: When I was editing this video, I noticed that Brian's body movements at 2:37 in this video seem to actually match up better to the high note played in the 2018 Revisited version than to the original 1978 Album version, which makes me wonder whether this is a version of the solo he had created all the way back in 1978. We'll never know!
This is all explained in the video's description if you care to see how I did it and the resources I used. Glad you enjoyed it!
@@omzarinio wait, What's the difference between the old and new guitar solo in this song? I have noticed this song has 3 different versions or just has been re recorded perhaps?
@@Rusli1659LPSoldier slightly different melodies
@@m1co294 Sightly different melodies?
3:19 I really like this part the most.
Idk why, but its really serene to me
This remix made me aware of how little the guitar sounds in the original version of the song.
There's literally no rhythm guitar in the original, only the solo part.
3:28 is where the video pauses as Freddie sings his final vocals.
Idk why this makes me cry. Such a masterpiece. Such a performance fitting so. You were and are and will be a miracle Freddie. Even when I listened first of this you were gone, you remain the biggest hero I ever could have had.
HOW DOES THIS NOT HAVE A MILLION VIEWS YET?!?!?!?!?
RIGHT?!
RIGHT
RIGHT?
@3:25 is to the end sounds like him going to the afterlife
This is musical genius at its best. My sons father loved the hell out of this. Gone since 2015. Bitter-sweet memories but still my ultimate pump me up party song. Can't help getting intoxicated by the energy of excellence. RIP MRD

Bash The awesome dude See the movie. I swear, you Will love Queen much more arter the movie
Only part that wasn't in the movie was Freddie's last interview one day before he passed when he public admitted he messed up, but that's implicit throught the history.
It's a good watch, make sure you listen to the albums too.
Watch it, I was around 11 when I watched it and it's one of the best films I've ever seen. The actors did the best job.
Bash is now 14.
Freddie Mercury & Queen 4ever🤩

Now Brian isn't pretending to play the guitar
Impresionante!!!

Me gustó más este remake que el original, pero estaría mejor sin las pausas al inicio en la parte de la acapella

As @
SaagoLagunes.official_1815 linked, the "(...Revisited)" version from the Bohemian Rhapsody OST is the version you're looking for.
I made this mix to mimic the version that plays at the end of the film as the credits begin to roll; I explained this in the video description (but understand if you don't speak English, in which case you likely won't understand this anyway).
at 1:58 look at the bottom right corner XD
