There are several ways to level the door.
1. First of all, check the part of the furniture that is not twisted by the side of the furniture and twist it.
2. The second way is to adjust with a hinge.
On the last page of the manual you can see how to adjust the hinge. Please follow the instructions.

Are the doors sturdy? I want to screw in a lock on them but I’m not sure if they are wood or cardboard

The door is wooden plywood.
Lock installation is possible.
