The pleasure is in the process, for sure. Ive made over 30 quilts & never machine quilted a one of them. All were queen sized except two baby quilts.
Woah! That's amazing! I agree, the process is the joy. Thank you for sharing!
Lovely! Thank you for first describing and then showing - just what I needed. Now I’m ready to start hand quilting!
It's a very meditative process. Enjoy.
I would think this is like therapy, so even though it may be time consuming, it would be worth it for the therapeutic benefits! I have that last metal thimble, had it for 2 decades and never used it, but now I will!
So happy to hear we inspired you to use it!
Very neat stitches!👍🏽
Very clear instructions. Thank you!
I’d love to know where you got that cute preprinted quilt top fabric.
Very beautiful. But impatient me prefers the big stitch method with 2 hands.
Ah yes! There are more than one way to hand quilt! Enjoy and thank you for commenting.
I agree!! I do it my way, no hoop or frame, no thimble, and I can make my stitches pretty small…about 1/8 inch.
✨ GRACIAS GRACIAS GRACIAS ✨
Thank you.
I use a finger cot instead of that little rubber thing that I am constantly losing!
I'm completely new. I don't understand how the blue outline doesn't show
That blue ink is a product that washes out afterm the quilt is finished. 🙂
The result looks beautiful but very time consuming!?!?
Thank you for asking. It's a very meditative process for sure, and with practice, you get more comfortable and faster at it.
Thank you for asking, Claire Haillot got it from this site: www.quiltingstencils.com/Mini-Wholecloth_c_81-2.html
