I loved all the sewing and button items that you included. I think I will just have to dig out all my sewing goodies and make a book myself. Thanks for sharing all your lovely inspiration.

+Shane Mc Oh my goodness you're so sweeeet!!! I'm really happy that you're enjoying my vids and journals. I do love making journals and try my best to convey this passion and hopefully encourage others to try it - it's such a fun thing to do and a great way to upcycle/repurpose/use what we have at home. Thank you so much for being here. Hugs xo.
Your glue book is fantastic. I like the button theme a lot. I am not one for writing and art journaling and mixed media have turned into a visual enjoyment for me. Thanks for sharing.
hello Debbie, I have been watching your videos for over a year and I really enjoy your junk journals, glue books,ect,.. your tutorials are easy to follow. I especially enjoyed your past junk journal vintage ladies..? I hope you will bring more of those to videos. thank you.
Wonderful visual display. I'm going to do this. I couldn't get the hang of sewing my pages tho a piece of cardstock so I just glued the cardstock onto the spine and stitched through everything.
Well I'm off to the Thrift Store to find some old books, need to make one. Thanks for sharing!!! Love this idea, sometimes I find the journaling very difficult to put down in words on paper and this I just love!!
Really enjoyed watching this and finding out more about the way you put your glue books together. As a fan of collage rather than journalling so much this is really appealing. Thank you for sharing xx
I love this. I a glue book I'm working on something like this with vintage sewing ephemera and miscellaneous digis in my stash. I will post pictures when I'm done.
I love this!! I have wondered what the difference was between the different types of journals are exactly and your explanation was the simplest and easiest to understand! I consider you one of the greatest teacher/designer of journals. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with the rest of us!! :)
Thank you for sharing this book I love it, was going to ask about putting in your signatures also but see you have answered below. Can't wait to see more of your lovely books so have become a subbie, Thank you
Thanks, I must have missed that part, I was doing several things at once while I was watching. I will watch the video again and pay better attention :) .
I know I'm jumping in quite late, and this has probably been answered, but do you have a shelf with all your journals. I love seeing how ppl organise their stuff, so can you show me some of your stuff organised!! including where the journals are. love ur work
Hi Louisa, I don't tend to display alot of stuff, so most of my used journals are tucked away out of sight, except for a few favourites that I love to look at now and then. Thank you for watching! :)
Like everyone else, I'm digging through my stash. Just love the book and no writing is just up my alley. I don't enjoy writing. Did the old shoe and perfume bottle come from one of your digi kits?
love this journal!!! you answered the question as to why i didn't see any stitching on the outside of the book for the signatures. thankyou! my other question is what type of paper did you use? it looks rather bulky and i really like the worn look you gave it. thank you so much for sharing! ~ ali
I just recently started watching your videos and I love everything I see! I'm wondering what kind of paper did you use in this book? I love the look of it.
I return to it, flip through the pages and take in the visual and tactile delights! Sometimes the sole purpose of one's art is to just enjoy it. I have journals that have functions such as list making, soul searching etc but my glue books are just a collection of artful pages :) Excellent question, thank you!
I loved all the sewing and button items that you included. I think I will just have to dig out all my sewing goodies and make a book myself. Thanks for sharing all your lovely inspiration.

Love your book! Do you have to use a specific needle when you are sewing on paper? I've never done anything other than fabric!! TFS xoxo
I use a regular needle but if it were thicker cardstock I might try a denim needle. Tfw!
Thank you dear xoxo

I just recently started watching your videos and I love everything I see! I'm wondering what kind of paper did you use in this book? I love the look of it.

They were sewn into a piece of chipboard that I glued to the inside of the spine :)

hi did you just glue pages together? cardstock?
After you add colored paper and stitching to your book paper do you just glue it into an open page? How does it get back into the bound book?
Yes that's right. I do go over that in the video. Thanks!

Your book is very lovely, but I have a question. This might sound stupid, but what do you do with this when you are done?
I return to it, flip through the pages and take in the visual and tactile delights! Sometimes the sole purpose of one's art is to just enjoy it. I have journals that have functions such as list making, soul searching etc but my glue books are just a collection of artful pages :) Excellent question, thank you!
