    Seth…you can adjust the speed on any video! You could have kept doing your speed (much higher) than what Knox was doing without ending the video! I love my x32i and am using the various marathon workouts to meet my training schedule. (Intervals etc). Just manually adjust the speed while it’s playing!! The time on the workouts doesn’t change but the distance covered does dependent on the speed you choose of course!! ☺️

      It seems like it bounces alot as you run on it? Is this a problem when you use it?

    I bought an x32i last January. It absolutely helped me become a runner through training with Tommy Rivs! This machine changed my life. Have fun exploring all the programs!

    I love my x22i that I got after your previous Treadmill video. One thing that my wife and I do is to make maps of different runs (5th Avenue mile in New York, Carlsbad 5K in CA, and Central Park 5k in NYC). Rather than running with the NordicTrack track view, these runs give you the Google pictures of the area, so, while you are running those routes, the Google Pictures are displayed on the treadmill screen, and you see the ground view of the route. It is pretty cool. In my IFit "Carlsbad 5K" route, I run a 5K with pictures of the same route as the race. It is nice to see nice and familiar pictures, like I'm running in California rather than same oval track with the progression of distance and time. Is it perfect? No, but it changes my perspective of the run and helps with the boredom of the treadmill run. The Google pictures and gps can be quirky, so it may jump around a bit. One of the real cool aspects, is that with the X22i and X32i, the incline changes with the route as if you are really running the actual route. So if the route has a downhill, it slopes down. If there is a giant hill, it will simulate that hill by increasing the incline to the route's incline. It takes some getting to used to this, but it is an excellent feature. The X22i, with the first snowfall of 2022 in Colorado, helped my winter running greatly! I love it!

    I need this treadmill so bad! I use a Nordic Track I purchased many years ago and as someone who trains for ultra and uses a treadmill A LOT, this thing rocks.

    Any idea how many decibels loud it is when walking arround 6 kmh vs when running at arround 12 kmh. I know that it might depend on the persons running style and weight, but i just want to have an idea of how loud this thing is when used before i buy one for my appartment (i live at the bottom of the appartment complex, but i do have upstairs neihbors).

    i think that you can still create your own routes with ifit. Why not create the rotterdam half route and practice the exact race route.
    you can also use zwift and rouvy with the treadmill - both are - i believe - free for runners

    Please exercise caution and sound judgement before buying this product. Their customer support is ignorant and you will likely regret it in weeks if not days. You pay so much for it and there is absolutely nothing you can do once you’ve bought it and face these issues. First they shipped the treadmill in parts it took 3 or 4 months. Then I had billing issues. They billed me twice saying they were sending a second one since the first shipment had missing parts, it took forever to resolve and now the belt does not move. Good luck if you do decide to buy it. I own one and now I feel stuck with it. The belt stopped moving in 6 months and in under 400 miles that I’ve used it for. If you do magically manage to get to help desk - they will literally ask you to open console (which is ridiculous), they use self service concept through a video app. If something happens they don’t even respond to your calls/emails. I dread the music they play when you wait for help and worst thing is they try to sell you more stuff while you’re on hold for hours. 😅 holy macaroni!

    I just had to laugh. If you want to get a decline treadmill, feel lucky if it goes to 6%. I regularly train on a hill that is between 10 and 30% grade. When it's cold and raining I put up with foot deep mud, and ski back down. Don't sign me up for a treadmill, LOL.

    What do you mean by "strides" ? I'm unfamiliar with that terminology, maybe it's a UK / American translation issue!

    • @51mpson
      @51mpson 2 роки тому +1

      'strides' are just a series of short sprints (around 100m each) with a brief walk/recovery between each one, that you might typically do at the end of an easy run. they serve to remind your muscles how to run faster and can help improve your form.

    I've been using Zwift run with my treadmill this winter. It is a fun way to mix up the training! Coros recently released an update to allow their watches to have a virtual run option to pair with Zwift and the treadmill.

    A treadmill is a great teacher when it comes to patience. I have a hard time running at a slower pace outside as I tend to drift back into more of a steady pace out of habit or boredom. I use a treadmill to lock in easy miles with low impact during a season when I am amped up but need the recovery miles. It's a different kind of accountability but you've gotta run slow to run fast(ish).

    The x32i looks nice!. I figured it most cost more than 10 k USD but after clicking the link i realized it only cost 4000usd which feels like a real bargain and a lot of treadmill for the money.
    Now I just need a new home so I can fit a treadmill in it. (:

      Depending on where you are but around my area a house will only cost you 4-500,000$… almost as affordable as a 4000$ treadmill… :)
