I agree with your review on this perfume. I love the original and the profondo i love even more. It is similar but has indeed more depth and punch to it and a bit more mature. It’s strong but not overpowering. Just right. It’s sexy and definitely with this summer heat the perfume opens up even more. I bought this perfume for my husband before I read any reviews. I smelled it and loved it instantly and I’m pretty picky when it becomes to perfumes. I definitely recommend this perfume for a sexy gentleman that wants to smell fresh and sexy. Lol

Updated: Just tested in airport! Better than profumo for sure, but if you like them more intense the profumo is still the best. I believe users if the original can change to Profondo, its ADG beefed up. I will not but it for now.
Originsl pist: This doesnt look like an important one for summer. Bought Guerlain Lhomme Ideal COOL last weekend, super fresh fragrance with the standard dna of the Ideal lineup, thats my summer one, pure ingredients, not complicated, delicious. Also plus for not being the most overused dna, ADG got a problem in that regard, which is why they tried to take the Absolu in another direction. Going on a joyride to Copenhagen this weekend and buying fragrances in the tax free is a given, Amouage is in the cards, Profondo is up there too, as is YSL Y Eau Fraice.

Of all the aqua di gios I’ve had throughout the years, “the flop” being acqua di gio Absolu is by far the best adg ever made. It isn’t the most unique sent in the world, but in terms of a solid performer with a very masculine vibe, it’s everything I could ask for.

I just bought YSL Y Live because it has the Y EDP DNA that I love but mixed with Invictus so it‘s better for clubbing.

I give you me impressions.
- AdG classic... Was amazing. But as you know was reformulated. Doesn't has the power, but still smelling well.
- ESSENZA, it's a real EDP. Brutal performance. Just 2 or 3 sprays are enough.
- PROFUMO, it works well but IMO it's for cool weather night. In high temperatures I don't like how it works.
PROFONDO. As you described, more dense than classic version, but lower than ESSENZA. Very similar than PROFUMO, but without the strength of the incense.
- ABSOLU it has power, but the thing it's very similar than INVICTUS. So it don't makes me sense to buy a brand like ARMANI, with a pretty similar scent than other house.

You just repeated what he said, the Absolu is a complete flop, Profondo is just a stronger version of the original and the best besides the original is the Profumo, perfect for Summer I live in Australia, it was made for Summer you body sweats enhances the Profumo it has a woody inscence scent added to the original DNA so I will be sticking with the Original just a few extra sprays and the best flanker the Profumo. Profumo was made to take on Dior Sauvage EDP.

@Darren Campbell could be I repeated it, but I gave my humble opinion starting from my personal olfactory experience because I have almost all of the bottles of AdG, except Absolu for evidents reasons. I don't see Profondo pretty similar than classic AdG. Could be, just a little, but to me it takes his own way.
I live in the Caribbean, at Dominican Republic, and here we have heat almost all year, combine with humidity. So I think I could know how it works that kind of fragrances. However, I'll try PROFUMO in Spring-Summer heat to see how it develops and performs, because IMO Essenza and Profondo are made to that purposes. I see Profumo more for semi-formal occasions
