We dated for 4 years and she dumped me by text april 2023 . i assume everything was great . gave her lots of space so she could be with her children as i have my hobbies and my alone time. i did not want to fall in love with. I did . I was heartbroken. But like you pointed out , it’s her life and I totally understand. becareful boys out there of falling in Love .
My ex partner suffered from BPD. An amazing girl when she wanted to be, but would emotionally fall of cliffs every few weeks. She left and came back many, MANY times during our 3.5 years. Each time I just left her to it and worked on myself. She tiptoed back in between 1 week and 3 months later. The advice works. We split again in November last year, it was a very toxic relationship. I think we’ve both realised this will never work. I’m still gutted (hence watching this video), but I’m not chasing after her as I did my best for her in the relationship. If she thinks I’m not good enough, fine. I’m happy with how I dealt with the chaos. I was emotionally empty by the end so whilst I wasn’t perfect, I did the best I could with the resources I had available.
I realized stopping chasing and going NC was taking my power back. It wasn't easy, but got better day by day. When she did finally reach out a few days ago after 4 months, I realized I won.
