About Me:
My bio is pretty random: In short, I am a professional singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada who moved to Manila, Philippines which sorta became my Hollywood because my first UA-cam channel MIKEYBUSTOSVIDEOS grew popular due to Filipino comedy videos. Meanwhile, I'm also a big biology geek who is obsessed with ants, so I built an internationally operating ant business supported by another popular channel called ANTSCANADA, and well basically, today I travel and tour around the world doing what I love so I wanted to start this vlogging channel, in hopes to encourage you guys to follow your dreams no matter how random, by showing you what happened when I followed mine! You just never know where life will take you when you listen to the yearnings of your heart!
Mikey, long time viewer love you vlogs. I usually never make any comments, but as an old guy who grew up with a pool I have a few suggestions that my parents followed. When ever any child is outside around the pool it is the responsibility of their parents to watch them. You can't expect other to do it. Drowning is a silent way to go, they don't scream for help they just slip below the water and it happens fast, I know. I've rescued my young cousin from the bottom of the pool when I was a teen ager and also pulled an 8 year old out of a friends pool during a party, his parents were sitting beside the pool and didn't even realize he had slipped off a inflatable mattress and had gone under. Had to perform mouth to mouth, he instantly started breathing was was totally ok. Don't mean to alarm you, just inform you. Maybe you and RJ and your staff should take first aid and CPR courses. Glad you're living your dream with RJ and your family.
I was thinking of that too, they have to child proof the pool to be safe for the kids

Mikey, watching your Mom shows precisely where you got much of your personality. She's fantastic! I got such pleasure from watching her with the birds. Her soul, just like yours, is so pure and kind as she shows her love and respect for the birds (and the dogs). She's a true treasure.
WOW, so much progress around the home! I'm so impressed with all the great choices. That landscaping is beyond, the pool is really going to be special! I know that RJ has had a lot to do with keeping the velocity of this project at such a high pitch, that's quite a skill. He's really done a great job (I know it's been a lot of work with a lot to go but, it's really coming out fantastic). Ya know, that moment you shared with the birds in the morning coming to greet you is exactly what you described years ago as all this was being built. What an awesome moment to share.
I was so touched seeing the pure satisfaction on RJ's face when those beautiful pots were delivered and placed at your front door. I remember when ya'll describe this and, what an achievement. Seeing how satisfied and proud RJ is of all this is very heartwarming. What makes all this so incredible is the humility you both have with this accomplishment.
When I saw the bahay kubo, I immediately thought that you could use an HD Projector to make this building "jump". I'm not sure how to describe it, it's relatively new tech that Disney has been using on the Castles to project images that animate and made the castle appear to move and dance, it's quite amazing and, that bahay kubo, in my mind, would be a perfect candidate for that (and that would be so incredibly unique). This tech is more available now and can be used on smaller-scale buildings. I'm going to try to do this at my home soon.
I love the idea of a huge video screen at the pool! You could play music videos and, even have Pool Karaoke Parties with it... OMG, that seems like it would be SO FUN!
Luggage!! It's such a pain when it gets "lost". Did everyone have the same connecting (Tiapae) city? That could be the problem. For me, connecting from Paris to Italy almost guaranteed lost luggage.
WELCOME BOOMSTER JOE AND FAMILY!! I've been waiting to see his reaction to the Joseph Room and, it did not disappoint. Mikey, I totally love the relationship between brothers (I'm very close with mine) and I really appreciate your and Joe's relationship. Maria and Raf seem perfectly matched and the three of them make such a cute family! I'm excited to get to know all of them more (I've been a huge fan of Joe for quite a while now). I got such a kick out of Raf, just walking on the glass floor, fearless as only a young kid can be.

The last several months you’ve been anticipating and sharing how thrilled you were with Joe finally being able to visit with his wife and step-son. Is it common to tile your pool in the Philippines? I would recommend getting a protective spray on them that also adds a little grip because when wet it could get dangerous.
I know how you feel about having pool. We just got one two years ago and I really felt it was a dream as a child.

I was a general contractor in Vancouver bc. At the age of 40 packed everything up and moved to Iloilo with my young family. I love your house. At first i questioned some of the designs and finishes but now that's its close to completion and has been decorated it's all really come together. I couldn't quite see your vision at the start but see it now... well done.

I am now seeing the banana tree cut-off, the inner layer is a vegetable, so delicious with chicken, mongo ang tanglad, well that's an Ilonggo dish. I so love your landscaping...Yes, what you call Lemongrass, is TANGLAD in Ilonggo. So good with lots of dishes. Also, planting that in the garden wards off snakes....oh, sorry I know you like snakes as you have one, but it also adds beauty to the landscape as a tall grass.

Mikey, you don't have to justify yourself for what you have. You're wealthy, good for you. Yes, you've been incredibly lucky with the UA-cam algorithm lottery, but then you've kept working on your passion, I've watched that, I can testify that you're talented and you deserve your share of fame and fortune. Admittedly, it's harder to carry in a less wealthy country like the Philippines, but that's also a country which is growing fast, so the gap will lower, hopefully. So let's enjoy! 👍

Before i was breeding butterfly for clock taxidermy as a display. I know that kind are citrus layers. Be careful you might get a bald plant if you won't control at least 2 to 3 caterpillars per plant. They will eat all the leaves.
I could be wrong but it looks like that first butterfly laid eggs on your lemon plant. Probably a swallowtail. Their caterpillars feed on plants in the citrus family. You should have caterpillars that look like poop soon!

Technically your new sister-in-laws son is your step-nephew. Even though no blood relation between them. I hope they can be as close as a blood relation.
This is only a suggestion but all the landscaping and carpentry jobs are done you should throw a small party for the workers for a job well done and give them a small token (money) to show your appreciation for their dedication and hardwork.
Soursop is good for you it also kills cancer cells and I love your big pot vases Out front I would just leave them as is much love and blessings from North Texas❤
I agree, no need for plants. But i would put something inside near the mouth to cover it so that rain, dirt, and critters don’t make a home inside it. Just a little below the rim where it’s not visible and easy to reach when cleaning.
