Sir, Your videos are too good and without clutter, to the point
Another great video, my garden is looking great with many thanks to you. Question: 1: we live in a year round hot desert climate, can crotons withstand 8-10 hours of direct sun? 2: What climate zone do you live in? Salud de Mexico!
Nice. Detailed
Obviously 10. 😊😊👌👌👍👍

I left very precious Croton plants out a couple nights after our first few frosts. I didn’t see your video until I tried to save on my own. The leaves are now very hard and turning brown. Can these plants still be saved and do I leave the leaves on or take them off once I re-plant as your video instructed? These are very precious plants to me, because of who they once belong to. I hope you have some encouraging news for me…

I've been waiting for this. My crotons are dying after a few months and I'm puzzled why.
Glad to know...Without knowing what you are doing as a care, it's bit difficult to answer why they are dying. But still, please try to use good soil mix and provide enough Sunlight. In most cases, Soil and Sunlight causes issues in Croton. They don't need lots of fertilizers either. Sorry for the late reply and if you have any question, please let me know!
Top honours !
Wow 👏 it looks so beautiful 😍
10 out of 10😊 I repot croton last month after 1 week it looks dull and leaves are bend as you show in the video .I shifted it in morning 1 hour sun light but is not doing well what can I do to save 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you so much :-) If possible, please provide sunlight for more hours..If you do only that, you would see improvement for sure. Thank you once again and sorry for the late reply!

Croton ko abhi winter aane se phle laga sakte hai?
Better avoid buying now if you are located in North India with a bit harsh winters. They thrive in South India even in winters due to moderate temperatures.

10 duh!
I have speciality of killing crotons (5). All of them were bought fresh from nursery in red pune soil or hard clay soil. If I don't change soil, they don't grow. If I remove the soil, they go into shock. Anyway I found crotons are very fussy plants. And don't do well in north India extreme winters. They don't like being kept indoors either. For slightest mistake they punish me with falling of leaves. Haha. So recently I decided to not buy the croton unless they are potted in a good soil mix.
Thanks for sharing this 😀. I thought I am the only one failing to grow the crotons. They are fussy, extremely sensitive even if I change their position. So no crotons as my plant baby. I killed innumerable ones....now I don't buy. Period.
@Manju K, Sorry to know..I do agree, some varieties are more sensitive. One small tip - Whenever you go to nurseries, please buy those plants which are kept under direct Sunlight. Usually they are quite hardy and avoid buying plants which are in green house. All those are Hybrid varieties and die too quickly even if we slight mistake :-) Hope that helps and thank you :-)
@@GardeningUpbeat thanks for your tips. I will buy appropriately next time.
Same here. Have tried 3 varieties, at different times, all dead. I find them sensitive, and fussy. Maybe…..will try again though.
