There's a lost botcon theme that was going to be based on action masters using Titans Return figures, can find the mockups if you search Botcon 2017. Megatron was going to be a Sixshot redeco that's mostly Megatron colors with some highlights from the Neutro Fusion tank and in theory that shouldn't read at all but it's actually pretty striking.
Action Masters could have been cool if they had better articulation. If only Hasbro had another toy line of figures with better articulation to use as a starting point. Perhaps a line that was military based. If only.....
Action Master vehicles I get the feeling was probably inspired by the one episode of the G1 cartoon Make Tracks where Hoist was in Huffer in his vehicle mode
Truly, Transformers One was a cautionary tale about how being forced to live as an Action Master surely leads to becoming either a violent revolutionary or a big red trukk.
They're remind me of the transformers I had when I was young. I had star screen, sandblast,, a drill machine I can't remember it's name, one that could turn into a tank, hoist and broadside. I remember seeing a pack with the constructicons, inside it formed into devastator I think it was, I wanted it so much but couldn't afford at. I left crying my eyes out,
I'm starting to get the assumption that Action Masters have their appeal heightened if they have some ridiculous accessory or vehicle to go along with them.
I really liked a lot of the original Action Masters. Rad, Jackpot, BanzaiTron and Treadshot were some of my favourites, and finally getting a Shockwave (even if in action master form) was great.
I really like the base mode just a rad place for small decepticons to hang out. Got a Neutro Fusion Tank for $20 last year, because it was a cheap bit of vintage g1 I had not experienced. I don't have the action master megatron. But the modern core class g2 megatron fits great. Like he was made to go with the tanks toxic green. Another excellent and cheeky review. Makes me smile.
I had most of the Action Masters, but I never got Megatron, Soundwave and a few of the other Decepticons. Action Masters were an Interesting idea, but it was almost like Hasbro was out of ideas and just wanted to sell stock in brands names and not toys. It was just odd. Still, I had fun using most of the toy bases and Transforming weapons with the Micro Transformers. That seemed to make them more useful. Again, great review!
buuuuuuuut Gaaavin! At 1:40 when you talk about "the Autobots" lining up to get shot by Megatron, you've clearly included Decepticon Axer among them!! Boy, I sure hope somebody got fired for that blunder
I’d love for Hasbro to reissue these. They won’t. It’s bad business. But I’d love it. Watching Gav review them that is as I sure as hell won’t buy them 😂
But the question on everyone's mind (at least, everyone important, like me) is whether these guys will work with M.A.S.K. vehicles. The world needs to know! ..... or at least have its curiosity sated a bit.

Man, seems you can walk into your local bakery these days and pick up a non transforming Transformer I have a bunch of these in different sizes and styles They tend to be super cheap and the Metalfigs are the current darlings… with absolutely no articulation Whatever feeds the need I suppose

If they’re gonna make Transformers that don’t transform then they absolutely should come with vehicles that do transform lol

Come to think of it, this is actually the first time tanks being associated with Megatron was a thing, even the G2 toy didn't come along until 1992.
This was my favorite toy as a kid. Found a used one on eBay a few years ago and picked it up. Absolutely hit me in the nostalgia feels.
