Awesome video! Really good tutorial on getting started. The Marauder is doing its job. Looks like a fantastic choice for hunting small game.

I hated the lack of a stop on the trigger before it fires so I made a position adjustable ‘3rd stage trigger stop’. I bought two MEETOOP Spring Pluger Locking Pins from Amazon ($10). The pins’ initial push weight is 1 Lbs.
I adjusted the trigger position full back (see the owner’s manual). Drilled a hole in the lower portion of the straight vertical rear section of the trigger guard so the lower portion of the trigger would hit the pin when it was pulled. The hole was just big enough to allow a lock pin to screw into the guard’s soft material. The hole could have been bigger, but I wanted it to screw in. The pull ring interfered with my fingers, so I took off the pins pull ring and replaced it with a short-bent wire to hold the pin in place. I screwed in the pin w/ a supplied nut both in front and behind the trigger guard. Screwed the lock pin out a small amount so that the trigger stops when it hits the pin and only travels a short distance before it fires.
I now have a perfect semi-auto trigger with a light pull, a clear stop and a letoff at 3-1/4 Lbs with minimal travel at the stop. The pull weight should be adjustable with both the factory settings and the pins spring length if you want.

Great video! You really are an ambassador to our powder burner brothers and sisters. I'm glad you ended up with the rifle in the drawing.
Bob Sterne designed that slug to work well at a range of velocities. I'm sure you've seen Wayne on GTA posting about shooting them in old Crosman co2 pistols. My Gamo Urban shoots them great out to 60 yards at 630 fps. The driving bands really cut down on bearing surface and bore friction. They also allow the slugs the size down easily at the choke. He recently redesigned the boat tail and changed the angle slightly and this is reflected in the new molds NOE is making. I just got one of the redesigned HP molds and they cast around 27 grains with the longest pins. They would give you a slight boost in velocity.

I'm not ready to get a mold yet. I still need to figure out a few more things on this rifle. The Crow Magnums didn't do well at 50yds. Like really bad. Something isn't right on this rifle.

@@sixshootertexan I got the 20 grain pellet mold too. It'll be after Thanksgiving but I can send you some when I get them cast.

@@sixshootertexan Crow Magnums are generally considered a short range pellet. Most guns don't shoot them that well. I only have 1 or 2 that like them.

I’m one of “those guys” that Six was talking about at the beginning. I don’t know squat about air guns, but thoroughly enjoy his expert presentations with them. Thanks, Six! 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸

What a fantastic rifle. It would be nice if all pellets had the same point of impact

Good day SST! These PCP type airguns never really got a good start in Canada since they are considered "Firearms" here so most opt for a .22 rimfire still. It does seem to shoot well though. We're gonna lose a lot of our pellet and BB guns in the next round of "Gun Control" which is being implemented up here right now.
