Avantasia is not a bra-and-panty throwing affair (although roses and flags get thrown on stage), but Edguy can be sometimes. But Tobi's fans prefer gifting him with stuffed animals (either he gives them away to charity or he has a room full of them by now), wine, flowers, pictures they've drawn of him, chocolate, etc. (And then if you visit his instagram page you find that a few months ago on a promotion trip he went into his hotel room and found a vase with a rose and rose petals on his bed spelling "Edguy!" so there obviously was at least one very romantic fan working there) Or of course whenever on Facebook he announces a trip somewhere he gets loads of comments from fans (guys and girls alike) offering him free tours of their city, free tickets to museums they work at, free food at restaurants they work at, etc. He has some extremely dedicated fans. :) The DVD title is a joke. The censored word is "Fire". When trying to market the DVD in North America, the band was told they had to censor it, so in a spirit of defiance, they censored "Fire" instead of the obvious word. Once on Sweden Rock Festival in 2006 and three times in Malmö, Sweden. There are better live songs from Edguy than Vain Glory Opera though. Fallen Angels for example is a GREAT live song.

Edguy are great, but in my opinion not that strong live (unlike Avantasia that is reaqlly strong live). But they are totaly killing music videos. They are masters in those. Older ones especially. Try Superheroes, it is absolutely genioust.

Sure, Tobi had some years when he had problems with his voice but i've seen Tobi live two times in 2019 and he sounded SOOO GOOD. I understand that sometimes the sound problems are because their sound engineer fucks something up or Tobi has a cold or something, but all the 4 times i've seen Tobi live only once he sounded kinda tired and it was in 2017 during Edguy Monuments tour and he even said afterwards in one of his posts that he almost had a burn out that year so that's understandable.
Good clean vocals, but the song was a bit boring/repetive. Nice interaction with the audience and vocalist, although his charisma is no match to that of Floor Jansen.
I didn't say that the vocalist was bad, in fact I think he is quite good, but for me at least he wasn't as charismatic (or focus of attention) on stage as Floor is. P.S. You can compare apples and oranges, and if you don't like one or the other, then you are allowed to have your personal opinion of liking/disliking the other more.

This one is great song, I love it, and I get, you loved it too. But you dont't know studio version right now. If you would know it, you'd understand. This was great, if you did'n hear much better studio version. For them, this astually sound kinda like missed oportunity. They can be much better. I hope it make sence.
