  • According to a recent Invesco Global Sovereign Asset Management study, an increasing number of countries are repatriating their gold. Caused partly by the financial rout of the last year, more and more countries now are bringing their gold stored abroad home.
    While the global financial rout is only partially responsible, U.S., G7 decision to freeze Russia's gold is said to be a key factor behind it.
