How many custom programs can be saved in memory? In other words, how many memory slots/buttons are available to save different custom programs?
Does the Ogawa Master Drive AI also have a memory feature available for custom programs, like the Kumo?
Does the Ogawa Master Drive AI have the same feature where it raises the leg airbag up to the knee and provide heat at the knee?
Currently the Ogawa Master Drive AI is priced considerably less than the Kumo. However, you had mentioned in the Ogawa video that the Kumo provides a more intense massage (which I prefer). If I prefer a more intense massage, would I likely be disappointed with the Ogawa, and should go with the Kumo, or perhaps something else?

Both chairs have 3 memory profiles available. You might be ok with the Master Drive AI, in terms of intensity, but after a while you might be left wanting. Call me at 801-651-2026 or email me at alan@massage-chair-relief.com for our unpublished Black Friday sale price for the Kumo. We also have a 3 day old pre-owned Kumo available for an even better price. I hope this helps.

    Great vid thanks!
Assuming i like a deep tissue massage, especially lower back, what's the best on the market now?
I'd say shoulder massage is another important requirement.
I was looking at the Kumo or the master drive, but not sure if those would be best for my needs?

Great question. The Kumo and Master Drive are good chairs, with the Kumo being a bit more aggressive than the AI for the shoulders and low back. The Luraco iRobotics 7+ and the Daiwa Supreme Hybrid offer the strongest low back and neck/shoulder massages, IMHO. Feel free to reach out to us at 888-259-5380 to find out what in-store sales we have for all those models.

What is the difference between this one vs. the Cozzia Qi 710 4D model I have? It looks identical just different names? Cozzia is made in California vs. this being overseas.

I believe the 710 is the Cozzia QiSE, which is exactly the same chair as the Kumo, except that the Kumo is made in Japan. There is also a newer Cozzia QiXE which is more like the Ogawa Master Drive AI, from what I've been sold by the Cozzia folks. By the way, JPMedics, Ogawa, and Cozzia are all the same company and their chairs are all made in the same factory. That is why they are so similar.

Dr Weidner, the Kumo looks very much like AmaMedic Hilux 4D in terms of features, albeit with some differences. Is the AmaMedic the Chinese version of the Kumo?

That is a good observation, especially since a number of the Osaki Titan chairs are made in the same factory as the JPMedics Kumo. However, the chinese version of the Kumo is the Cozzia QiSE. I took a look at the Hilux (which is an Osaki Titan product) and, though it looks similar, I would not say it is the chinese version of the Kumo.

My goodness, Titouan, that is a terrible tale on multiple levels. First of all, for what chair brand & model did you pay the unseemly amount of $18,000 in today's market? Secondly, for that kind of money you should have a great return policy at your disposal from the company that sold you the chair, which would allow you to return your chair after so soon after receiving it. And, third, a chair sold at that high of a price should come with at least a 1 year parts & labor warranty to cover any malfunction, but more likely a 3 to 5 year parts & labor warranty. All brand name companies have a good factory warranty, even those that cost under $3,000. I'm very sorry for your misfortune! I have never heard of anything like this before, especially for a chair that comes at such an expensive price point (and I've been in the industry for 17 years!).

Hi, Brian. I don’t believe the Kumo has a voice control system.
