- I had a -1 run on this song the day I got Guitar Hero 3, but it's taken me this long to sit down and finally get rid of that -1.
This is probably my best full combo in the game so far. To be honest, I don't really like the song that much, but both of those solos are just insanely fun to play, and awesome :)

When you play Guitar Hero for long enough, your fingers become accustomed to moving in hammer-ons and pull-offs. To an onlooker, it looks incredible and somewhat impossible but it isn't in truth. You spend time learning each part, and learn from the ground up. In /Hard/ it's similar but not as hard. It helps you understand the movement etc. Then when in expert you just practice a lot.

As you can see, every Long notes are exactly distorted. And, to confuse ur jerk heads, the player just pressed the notes before, because he planned that. Its easy to see how a bot can do the long notes SO perfectly, ALL the music. Its not possible to a human do that, perfectly. He can press before, but WHO plays is the bot. Thats easy to realize >.> I play this game for years.

While using star power you can't get more star power. He obviously doesn't play this song much since he used star power on top of other sp phrases meaning he didn't get them. You obviously don't understand the game fully yourself yet so don't say it's fake...
You need the longest fingers to do this. I play this on easy only. I'm only good on easy. Is this legitimately possible? Amazing!
MAN I remember I was playing this song on hard and trying to get 100% (i can only get like 88% on expert cause of that damn 2nd solo) And I was about at 4:05 in the song when my mom knocks down the door and is like, "Hey son! I'm going to bed night." Generally, the notes that most players tend to whammy are the ones that give you Star Power (the ones outlined with stars, as I'm sure you've noticed). In this regard, I only noticed Wulfe miss 1 Star Power note that he didn't whammy (the orange around 3:04)
I'd chalk that one note as human error (perhaps he forgot it gave Star Power), than deny that Wulfe has the skill to FC this song, given that Wulfe's FC'd the vast majority of the other songs in this game.
If he doesn't whammy every note, it's not a bot. Bots whammy every note. Wulfe didn't.
The part about whammying the notes around 3:30 can be chalked up to skill, which Wulfe has. There's a strumming position where your hand is above the whammy bar so you can whammy for short notes. It's not recommended for songs with fast strumming, but there really isn't any in this song so that's a moot point.
U know i have always had alot of faith in wulfe. Im not so sure about a bot but let me tell you. I can whammy so fucking fast it makes my arm hurt and none of my held notes sound like that. WAAAAAYYYYY too fast. Maybe not a bot but he uses one of those homebrew auto whammy mods for SURE. Google auto whammy for GH youll see what i mean. Tsk tsk. Just whammy normal like the rest of us.
I have come to the conclusion GH3's cult of personality is harder than the one on GH Smash Hits by a little GH3 's notes are less spaced out but in Smash Hits there are atleast a 100 more notes and the hammer ons in GH3 are easier to hit but the Hammer ons in GH smash hits come slower in my opinion plz feel free to state your opinion
uhh... u fail, theres a few reasons u can tell it's not a bot, 1. bots dont hold notes ahead of time 2.he doesnt whammy on every single sustain 3.bot dont have much control over star pwer, meaning either they use it as soon as possible or, they dont use it at all, this person is just good, and ur a bit jealous?
pfft. do you even know what easy expert is? its where the notes are shrunk so its easier to read them...and it only works in quickplay...this is wulfes char that he uses for alot of his fc's, so before you go on about how you love the thought of everybody else being rubbish just because you are, buy the game.
It makes me sad that the people of today can't accept that people ARE capable of doing this with enough time invested, practice, and natural skill in terms of coordination, memorization, etc, and have to call this "fake", "botted", or whatever.

i gotta admit i'm here because this is CM Punk's theme music, but i was mainly just into hip hop and recently got into rock music and heard this when Punk had it and thought it would be a good GH song not knowing it already was. Plus I like the song coz its a good song
hehe b4 my gh guitar broke i could play it, here's a tip for the solo's, you probably should know but if you're having trouble in a solo gather star power and use it while you're middle of the red, then it'll go up, i always get my star power full b4 the cult of personality solo ^^
Bots actually can use SP and whammy, but when they wammy it is a lot more drastic than what you see in this video.
I agree with you guys, it's not a bot, but just as a note, they can use the whammy and use SP, they just can't choose where to use the whammy and when to use the SP.
if you listen to the song the second solo isnt in there they remade the song for this game.. i like the solo.. but the original is my fave.... and if you dont like the song... go jump in the fire. also the guitarisr on their looks like hes from Gwar.... lol quite in accurate
actually this is the worst song i ever seen in guitar hero history......the guiratist took the guitar and moving his hand fast an scratching the chordes made a song.....ffs the worst ever and noone will change my mind...

Great vid, just one quick question about HO/PO. With a song like this, I have a nasty habit of holding the notes, G and R so I wouldn't fail the song and by some miracle... I gotten a 94%, any good tips on holding the guitar without spraining my hand and wrist?
its not a bot when the notes aren't hit perfectly, seriously if you look the notes will sometimes sink below the receptors before they are played, that means its not a bot, beside this song is fun to play i can understand someone wanting to play it a lot to learn it well. 5*

@Bornwithawesomeness yah this game is kinda glitchy, like when your doing the two notes (green and red) alot like in ''the devil went down to georgia'' I see myself missing a couple notes but the game doesn't count as if I missed it.
@xiihavok Far from a rock god. Quite the opposite actually. I know more about rap than rock, but I hate most music pre-2000. This is an exception. And all I know is that the group is black. I'm not a fanboy. Don't be quick to make assumptions.
For those still simply trying to clear this on Expert, activate a full star power at 3:23 , then just play what you can. For most people, 80 percent of the time you can complete the song (but practice "Don't Stop Soloing" just to be safe).

if you like the solo on medium you'll love it on hard the way the notes are placed are so perfectly gives you the feeling you're on a real guitar.
btw keep practicing on medium you'll get the hang of it it took me a while but i got it chin up ;)
Oh, that saddens me so much. Why do you provoke other people and start fights, but then you hide behind your handicap. And I've seen and known many people who can enjoy their lives as much as other people, even without the usage of legs.
On hard the first 230 notes are pretty easy to get. Besides the solo's there should be alot of star powers and streaks. I'm no pro but my highest score on hard is 212k with 97% notes hit. Now i just got 200k on expert..barely haha.
okay hitting all the sp aint really a matter if 2 songs had the same notes and sp and 1 song had a bunch of notes in the same spot and the 1 with alot of notes has a sp but u cant pass it to score higher thats what i meen by that
yeah the second like 12 hour long solo is fucking hard but keep doing it, i used to have to use star power to not fail the FIRST solo but now I can hit it almost like 100%. to finally beat the massive solo though I had to use hyperspeed :3
Holy shit, I am soooo jealous! I've been trying this forever, and I keep failing at 77%-ish because I can't solo worth a damn... I have to wrap my wrist around the guitar to reach the orange button and now have a cramp :(

There is nothing wrong with Punk using this music. It means its a freakin awesome song. Punk wouldn't pick Friday or something. He picked a great song.

Before you say that, understand that Living Colour remastered this track specifically for GH3, and the guitarist packed more notes into the solos for that very reason. The original solos are a tad more lyrical than this.
I actually find this one peanuts compared to raining blood. Also, raining blood sounds like shit so this is way more fun to play anyways. When we play raining blood it's just to hit that mighty thunderstrike at the end :P
Ya'll, this ain't no bot. I seen him almost miss a note on the first solo. a BOT would have a perfect alignment with a note everytime on any song. hard or expert. So look at some other videos and see what i mean.
he get that because when you activate the star power, the star-shaped blocks become normal blocks, thus making it count like you didn't pressed the the star block. get it more or less? i'm not too good in explaining...
niceee. this is sweet. i still can't hit everything in the solos. and dlrmo6370, ive only been playing for like a year now. and i can already hit like 96% or 97% of this song. its not that hard to get good at guitar hero

actually that's not true, and besides, bots hold the last note until the next one, and whammy on every note and star power right away... and as RabbidsL said, you see the buttons light up before...
... in the solo there's like 5 really small wammy's and he whammy's them like crazy, it's completely a bot .. watch all the demos and that's what they do.. they wammy all the short and long notes

This isnt a bot. Bots would completely destroy the whammy. It would max out the amount of whammy repetitions on those chords. He just happens to be one of the most legit players ever.
You can't miss one and get 100%. you don't even know what you're talking about. You can overstrum and still get 100%, which would not be an FC. He didn't miss one or overstrum though.

i finnaly beat this song the 2nd solo had me stuck for so long. but i just practiced the first part of it a ton so i could save star power for the second half and get through it.

It's not a bot. FFS, people.. Bots don't hold down frets early like most players do, and they hit every single button as it comes up, whereas player often hold higher frets during HOPOs
OF COURSE he rigged the guitar. He prolly has it on PC and modded it so that it would hit every note and whammy like a screaming baby on the star power notes. It's cool to watch, though.
The song was rerecorded for this game (they couldn't locate the master tracks). The solos are the things they noticeably changed.
i wonder why this song has a lower score than a stricken expert fc when this has 2 solos, the first one is pretty easy but the second one is abnormally long and tough...
