hey please dont feed your 3-stars.............each one of them will give you 30 diamonds! and there are enough 1 &2 stars in the shop or drop from exp raid. Those can be used as food.
you can sell heros to get some resource. legos and epics will give 50/100 gold/purple token that can be used to buy nice stuff in the awakening shop. 3-star will give 30 diamonds and 1 or 2 stars just sell for gold. So always use 1 and 2 stars for food.
Your beginners guide was the one that helped me out the most on raid. It was very detailed and I kept going back to it whenever I would progresses a bit and was ready for the next step. I think having something like that in watcher could help people out too.
My most crucial tip for this game is: If you dont summon 2 legendaries in first 3 days ... just start over. This game has one flaw and that is: its too fast progress. You get like 4 new features every day. I didnt start over so i have no champs other than guaranteed ones and i still manage to get to "red" stages in many places and almost everywhere. Also for how fast you progress there is "now you smash into a wall" moment. That is upgrading legendary item costs like 40-70k, upgrading mythic costs like 500-1000k, meaning you can farm mythic gear easily, but you never level it up any time soon. In raid you equip like 5 champs and use them for 5 months no problem. Here you need 15 champs imediately because as Ash said you need multiple copies of same class to beat the dungeons. Dont think this game is bad, but it is still far from ideal experience.
Love the content, Ash! I have to tell you, I started playing this and RSL two weeks ago and man, this game is so much better for new players to get into. RSL has so much bloat it’s disgusting. Pulls are so scarce there and the hero pool is so diluted that I’m always getting trash or even campaign farmeables. This game on the other hand is so fair with the summons and even as a mid spender, it’s just way more satisfying. Can’t imagine how much better it is for F2P players. Ready to just quit RSL and focus on WoR fully lol

I just beat GR3-18 with a mediocre roster, I actually had to max out Apsan to beat it. It took me about 2hrs of trial and error, and it was so fulfilling to finally clear it.
Today they added quick (instant) gear upgrades to the game. It was at the forerunner server for a 3-4 weeks and now landed on public. Great feature - only 2 months from premier.
Ash my man! Another tip if you want to work out your pitty for legos. Click summoning tab then on the summoning rewards. It will show you how many summons you have done. Its useful for the pull a lego get one free event. So if after your last lego you note what number your on you have a rough idea how many shards until your pitty kicks in ❤
Ash, unless someone already told you there is a thing about consuming rare heroes - NEVER do it. Just sell them for diamonds (even content creators need diamonds sometimes, right?).
Watcher suffers from a pay-to-play problem. It's not just pay-to-win. There's just nothing to do. Every day you quickly spend all of your energy on exp raids and clear the red dots. It's probably an hour of content per day, and that's a really loose definition of the word "content". You quickly run out of things to do. Not good for a type of game that needs to keep your attention. I don't know if they expect you to pay for energy to keep doing things, but it's not something I would ever do. The tower defense gameplay is a refreshing take on the combat, but it does get tedious. If your saved lineup changes at all, you'll have to redo a level manually and that means figuring out the hero placement again. The summons are frustrating. This game has a really wide hero plateau on the epics. You'll get plenty of epics, but not very many legendaries (especially if you're F2P). You'll have enough epics that rares are mostly dismissed for gems. This means your roster grows pretty stagnant pretty fast. You do get more summons than Raid, but they include uncommon champs. Be prepared for a LOT of uncommons and rares when you're summoning. I think the reason I still play after a few months is just habit. I got Elowyn pretty early and a couple other interesting leggos, but there's just nothing that exciting about them. It's not like when I pulled Duchess in Raid and knew the game just got different.
I have been playing the game for 15 days now and it's really enjoyable.. I am free to play and I have already got Vierna as my first leggo and then Regulus, Cerburs, Hex, Elowyn, Ajax and Apsan, which made me advace so quickly in the game.

Oh but to the point of the video, I like really wish Raid would take stock of the upgrading mechanics for this game because it would save years of people's lives. Question though, I'm about to make my first 6 star today, 3 real choices. Zilitu, Laseer or Wrath, your input in particular Mr Evans would be greatly appreciated. (I'm geared towards Zilitu first, then Laseer and then Wrath over the next few weeks. )

@Ash, or anyone that can answer. Ash showed a view of Quick Star Up that has the whole cost - exp, heroes, gold - needed to star up. I do not get that view - I have a button to max level, then it shows heroes to consume for starring up with a star up button on the side.
The game doesn't really excite me. I find it repetitive and very unfriendly to play on mobile. It takes a long time to complete quests and farm. I still play it, but as if it were a little game. Raid beats WoR widely and the worst thing is that I am convinced that as time goes by, it will receive the same criticism as Raid.
I can respect the game because it has really good graphics and music, but tower defense is a trash battle system(tide is super neat though), but people can't really compare Raid and watchers as it's two different game types, the only thing similar is that medieval fantasy art style.
I love the game but rolling gear is absolutely disgusting. It's worse than Raid. I don't mean how long it takes - I just mean, you spend ages farming for pieces with the substats you're looking for, then you roll them, and the item becomes unusable. Because the rolls are so low. It's like finding Crit dmg gloves with crit rate, speed, attack% sub stats in raid, only to roll up your perfectly good gloves and instead of hitting the stats, instead it takes away the stats and becomes a useless item. The fact you can find perfect items, only to roll them and them to become useless is a joke.
Forgot to mention this on rating legendaries, but my hot take is that Shamir is probably B+ to A-. I hesitated to invest in him when I pulled him cause everybody said how bad he was, but I've actually gotten a lot of use out of him. His cc isn't as hard as Marri, but he deals some fairly substantial DMG that ramps up with cc as more of a bonus. Particularly he is great on Dragon where he can ramp up and really start laying in. Typically my 2nd highest DPS in Dragon, behind Salazar. Though admittedly I slacked hard on Wrath so Shamir would probably be 3rd if I had a decent Wrath built haha 😅
The thing is that early game, or in a more limited pool of legendaries / compared to epics, pretty much any legendary is A-S tier, mostly due to base stats having a bigger impact. It is when he's ranked against all the other legendaries that he falls near the bottom
What I love is the amount of shards yo get. I have opened over 500 shards in 3 to 4 weeks. Compared to raid perhaps, 30 a month and that's iff I spent money. And by the way I have only spent 50$ on this game. And I'm sitting on 4 legos, it would have been 5 but pulled a dup.

i will just say this, watcher of realms is a raid of shadow legends copy but with a different gameplay mechanic. Raid is better in champions, things to do but watcher feels fresher because its new and has a little bit better graphics. For me its a hard no, if you already have been playing raid or wanna choose between those 2 then 100% go for raid
if it's a different gameplax mechanic then it's not a copy. From what I've seen, dungeon types and shard pulling and maybe graphics are same/similar but so are X other games in the genre. It's nothing new. But the gameplax seems fundamentally different which is an enormous part of the game. So it's not a copy honestly

i dont understand how this game came out in 2023 and still lacks so many features you would expect. its almost a literal raid clone but with tower defense. I tried this before it was general released back in beta days but didnt stick around for long because it had a long way to go i thought. Also couldnt play on phone and computer because there was no account linking back then was a no go for me. I didnt like how everything took so long to do and it felt too similar to raid. then you and HH came over and started really hyping up the game so i checked it out again and its almost the same as beta just a little cleaner with the path system etc. but this game still does not respect the players time. multi battles are so dumb, theres no x5 or x10 for fights so you have to just sit there and watch your dudes kill goblins. the non instant artifact upgrade is also hilariously bad. oh wow theyre adding it in? why was it not in from the beginning? no sweep mechanics for content already cleared and the promotion system is quite annoying early game. the menus take a long time to navigate through it seems like everything has a loading time. like okay stage is done load up another one please. it feels like you are playing in mud. not what i would expect from a new game. PVP in this game is also really weird, its not exactly fun its almost tedious but you have to do it because the arena shop is filled with so many goodies(which is a good thing much better than raid) I just dont get why people are happy to have such a lack luster experience. The actual gameplay is fun if not a little slow but the puzzle aspect of the levels is alright. One game that really did things right for a while was eternal evolution. you could do up to 10 fights at a time so it was okay if your dungeon run took 2 minutes because it counted for 10 runs. they had a lot of sweep and auto complete things. Could do your dailies in under an hour. They sort of lost the plot with the release of a character that cost 3000 dollars and the game was dead for the most part which caused me to eventually quit. overall it seems fun and im glad i checked it out again as a side game, something to do.
I love the game. I've only been playing 14 days as a free to play I have pulled Zilitu, Salazar, Abomination, and Claypso which I'm hoping she gets a buff then I'll have all S tier legendaries! In raid it was months before I got a "Good" legendary! Plus I feel like I don't have to spend endless hours playing.
Instant upgrades are great, but the LACK OF GOLD is awful!!! Having to run a gold raid is terrible. The added gold is not near enough. They are waayyy to stingy with gold
No. is not a good gane. i won't recommend. i played sllot and spend substantial amount of money. the problem with the game is that is to greedy and is build to hook you up and spend all you r money otherwise you just look at the screen . i understand you want to spend some money but not to be always ripped off. the drop rate of the heroes is one of the worse on Google play

Instant upgrades are great, but the LACK OF GOLD is awful!!! Having to run a gold raid is terrible. The added gold is not near enough. They are waayyy to stingy with gold

No. is not a good gane. i won't recommend. i played sllot and spend substantial amount of money. the problem with the game is that is to greedy and is build to hook you up and spend all you r money otherwise you just look at the screen . i understand you want to spend some money but not to be always ripped off. the drop rate of the heroes is one of the worse on Google play
