This is the Train which we used to take from Silchar to Haflong. So many Memories with this Train
New Haflong station was totally destroyed by natural disaster in 2022 but what a great work by Indian Railway to reconstructed this beautiful station

We the ppl of this section wanted to keep the metre gauge as it was as a heritage and for tourists to experience the journey..
Abhi to expected hai ki By the end of December electrification complete hojayega. January se kafi saare gariyo ko eloco milega.
Electrification of railways is a part of development for reducing carbon footprint. This will beautify the section with electrification.
Electrification is half completed in this route

I just saw this in search bar.
We were earlier living near Badarpur. Really you touched our childhood pulse of sweet memories of stay with this journey
This line was fully metergauage from Guwahati to Silchar.
Post that Broad gauge was there till Lumding and then it was meter gauge line from Lumding to Silchar.Metergauge line consisted 37 tunnels.
Between Badarpur and Silchar, there was one rail-road bridge (unique) built by british. Whn train passes, bus and vehicle stops.
Maintainenance issue was there then.
However people help each other during journey then , a common understanding
Good Journey along with Worth Watching Naturistic Wondrous View's and Fabulous Curves But Maintenance is the Big Issue so as Food and offcourse yours Amazing and Commendable Vlogging and Content so Keep Travelling and Take Care Of Yourself
