Okayama Castle - Korakuen Garden/I went there by tram. Okayama Trip/Autumn Leaves

In the afternoon of the second day of our trip to Okayama, we had delicious kakioko and horumon udon noodles at Hanamon S. (see previous video), and then headed for Okayama Castle by streetcar, the Okayama Electric Railway, commonly known as Okayama Den.
Okayama Castle was extensively renovated in October 2022, and the castle is said to have undergone a major facelift.
This trip to Okayama coincidentally took place right after the completion of the renovation work, so many tourists were visiting the castle.
The renovated Okayama Castle, also known as Karasu Castle, was beautiful with its distinctive black walls and shining golden orca-shaped ornaments.
The massive castle tower is said to be a watchtower type, which is a highly advanced Japanese architectural technique.
After visiting the castle, we stopped at a café for a smoke and strolled around Korakuen Garden, one of the three most famous gardens in Japan.
The beautiful garden, with its autumn leaves in full color, was a welcome relief from the fatigue of the trip.
In the next issue, I would like to introduce a delicious Japanese-style pub we visited on the second night.
