To start off with we’re absolutely blown away by the incredible support on our last video-we’ve hit 1,000 subscribers! A quick update: I sincerely apologise but the next two videos will be a change of pace since I’m currently on holiday and unable to film more free/helping others content. I completely understand if it’s not your thing, but please stick around-once I’m back, we’ll be back to finding more people to help. Thank you again for the amazing support! Cheers!
Great job this hedge was un manage able. This harsh trimming will rejuvenate it will look great when it recovers again will be much stronger.youve done it good 😊😊😊
That’s great to hear. Thanks for watching and your support. I’ve visited Tassie 5 times now, even did a landscape job there in Dulcot about 17 years ago 😊. Cheers!
Privet so resilient will recover in new season very quickly,it is actually a tree so wants to grow as one,we had one lots of shade for animals and thirty feet high!It needs two cuts a year at least .
It’s was trimmed early spring, we just came into summer (December 2024), we have had some warm wet weather so I’m expecting to see some nice regrowth in the new year. Thanks for watching. Cheers!
Nice change for this tremendously overgrown hedge. Is the homeowner elderly, ill or otherwise unable to trim it themselves? Too bad you couldn’t have cut it down to a manageable 3 or 4 feet high so anyone could keep it easily trimmed. Nice result though.
@@MarkMows Totally understand. Do you ever suggest that a hedge or bush is really too high and would look better lower. And also that most lawn care guys could then easily manage to keep it looking nice.
Yes I definitely make suggestions, would make it easier to maintain if it was lower although I’d be putting myself out of a job 😉. In this instance they wanted the height for privacy. Not all mower guys can or have the equipment to do hedges.

Amazing job on reducing this hedge, looks great !!!!!
Thank you so much. It will look better once the new shoots appear. Shouldn’t take long as it’s been quite warm and we have had a lot of rain. Cheers!
I loved this content. It doesn't always have to be helping others for free.
Glad you enjoyed the content, thanks for your support. Cheers!

That's what I call a "hard reset". Things need it now and then when they get away from you. Should look great in the spring!!

Very nice job!
Thank you so much. 😊 Cheers!
Letting the light back in allow the hedge to breathe, will bounce back ,not the best hedge plant
Thanks for watching! I’ll be revisiting the hedge and you can see the after product then! Cheers!
I hope it will come back😊
I’m pretty confident it will. 🤞🏻Cheers!
❤👍
Thanks for watching. ❤️👍🏻. Cheers!
Да, сократили изрядно. Но я бы не ограничивала изгородь в высоту для того, чтобы была тень, а вот с боков конечно надо подрезать.
Thanks for watching. Cheers!
I tried trimming a hedge like this. It never regrew. 😂 I have a brown thumb!
🤣 Hopefully my green thumb shines through. Look out for a regrowth check up video in the new year. Cheers!
