  • It's that time of year again when the leaves are changing and temperatures are dropping, which means it's time to plant cool season veggies! This year I started a few seeds on my own and will be planting them in a raised bed at my local community garden.

What are you growing in your fall garden?

Hi Georgia girl - nice work on the garden. Gonna be one of those wise old women one day. You should try fig trees. They are easy from cuttings. Also try bulk starting your seeds, I think you'll have a lot better luck. Texasprepper2 has a video on bulk starting. Lots of videos on fig cuttings on youtube, Jsacdura are some of my favorite videos on figs. Let me know if you need fig cuttings I can send you some. We cut up the peppers into slices and freeze them in a freezer bag - they keep well that way.

New sub, aspiring gardener as well. lol. Great day in Georgia. Bell peppers are actually perennials and why they are still producing for you. Trim them back, pot and take inside or cover well and they will produce even more next season.
    Good content.

My bell peppers were great this year so I dug up 5 of the plants and pruned and put in pots to bring inside for the winter here near the southeast coast of NC. Did not know I could do this with bell peppers until I watched a video.

Yes! I wish I had done that last year. My peppers this year weren’t as great. I’m interested to know how your peppers do next year!
