good video! I know its a bit old now but a lot of STs still floating around out there that'll need clutches bled/components replaced. My clutch master cylinder just started leaking at the same location, waiting on parts as we speak. I'll prob get to the install this weekend, or next if it doesnt arrive in a few days. Few bits of info for the Focus ST when ordering the clutch master cylinder/pedal assembly: 2014/earlier uses: DV6Z-7519-A 2015+ uses BV6Z-7519-AR *Make sure you dont order the earlier version (part number DV6Z-7519-A) for the later year ST. You wont have a sensor thats needed (clutch pedal position sensor) and you're going to have a bad time lol. *Also, this a good time to upgrade your clutch line as well...its only $60 and its good especially if you already have the system open and need to bleed. *You CAN purchase the cylinder by itself for about $50-60, but you're better off just getting the entire assembly so you know you have the right parts. Apparently INSIDE the master cylinder the sensor i mentioned is concealed. So you dont know for SURE you're getting one with a sensor until you assemble everything. *This is a good time to upgrade your brake/clutch fluid with Motul600 or something better than OEM too if you track your car or push it on hot days. OEM fluid WILL boil and cause issues for your brakes if you try to abuse it.
Crap. I had the exact problem afte changing the cylinder. So there was that tip that just remained in the older cylinder. Crappy tip. Thank you man. Thank you.
Just did a transmission swap on my focus to the MTX-75, question for you... When the car is off, I can get the car in any gear, but when I start the car, I push the clutch pedal as far as I can and it won't go into first. Any ideas? Is it because I still have air in the lines?
Keep up the good work dude! U will get there. So my friend talked to u yesterday about the Acura TL.. come check it out.. make a video! I wana see how u do it. I wana make a channel soon too. There is nothing online for this car.. it make a great video!
Bro how on earth did you get the pedal out ?? I've been told I need to disconnect the steering shaft ?? I wrestled with it for like a hour, everything is disconnect, it's just too tall to come out
To all of yall there is a sensor that is in that pedal that when you push the pedal down it pushes this plastic piece In to close a circuit so you can start your car. Our cars have a safety thing if that breaks then we can use brake pedal. But see if that senser is in right and not broken.
Excellent job, good clues about the clutch lines, the procedure to replace the clutch's pedal, and the ON/OFF clutch sensor.

That line with the little rubber seal keeps blowing off when I'm bleeding the cylinder, pedal is super stiff then it just blows off

What year is this FOCUS ? I have a stinky ( getting stuck when i press down) issue with the Pedals and I may have to change it for a new one.
Finished mine today but doesn’t start when pressing the clutch anymore, it starts when pressing the brakes which is very odd
Same here, did u ever figure it out?
@@moneyshift2078 I haven’t yet, but i’ll keep you updated if i do
@@enthuzst6143 i’m having the same exact issue today

Yes I concur, make sure the connections are fully seated. Otherwise the sensor might be faulty and may need replaced.
Anyone know the part number for that line I need it
The Ford Part# is DV6Z-7519-A. It's listed on their parts website as a Master Cylinder which is all an assembly with the pedal included.
What is the part number for the line you thought you had to replace? Thanks for the video!!
