I hate to sound like one of "those" people but if you think Pycno is worse its YOUR timing. I thought it was terrible at first then i figured it out. The headslam needs to connect BEFORE your body collides with your enemy. Everyone is trying to land it AFTER they run into someone like its a bite. If you do that it counts you as standing still and doing-75% damage instead of +50%. I also run Ignore Uphill Movement. This allows you to outrun Megs, Ceras, Stys on slight slopes and you to turn around and get an easy headslam bc they are slowed down. Hills are pycnos best friend because it can't really stop tailrideing otherwise. I am not a good PvP player, but once i learned this i have beaten Bistas, Cryos, Ceras, Allos, Megs, and so much more just by using Hills, Headslam, and charge. I hope this helps some people, trust me you'll love pycno if you can time its attacks right. Its the first dino I've been able to win 1on 1s with and im a generally bad player.
there is a better way to beat smaller dinos, just use the precise movement like a normal person, juggernaut is only good if you are in a group, i always kill pycnos that are solo and using juggernaut
@@GuilhermeCoelho-ui3qo same. but pyc doens thave the best precise tho comapred to allo its worse. a good meg or alio can actually ride u pretty well. without juke. but ofc that require them to be decent. but yeah a shame we didnt have any dmg tail atk
your build, and a mix of the new update and the old one I'm not sure what skills you have in your build lone hunter has disappeared and others too. After your build and not bad but there are skills that have been removed in any case officially.
@@GuilhermeCoelho-ui3qo yeah they really screwed pycno he cant defend his back side from smaller dinos and still has bad turn and turn in place so he just sucks but when has that not been the case?
@@Dem1z_ to be fair his turn in place is really good. And he was really good for a while. Honestly they should buff his hp slightly, make his damage-to-self on attacks about half as much if not less, and make all of his attacks do about 10 more damage than they currently do and also make his charge do more damage/take less time to max the damage out.
@@dtbrex08 his turn isn’t that great especially when you cant attack with your tail to make up for it and what he needs is a combat weight increase and damage to match the others that are supposed to be in his tier
@@Dem1z_ I can see your point on tail attack. They already increased his combat weight so that’s why I suggested an hp and damage buff. I don’t know how they calculate it so they can do cw instead I don’t care, I just think, however they do it, they should slightly increase his hp and damage to make him less punishing than he already is. I thought it did too at first. Its actually op, you have to be good at timing your attacks with it. I learned that if you can time the headslam to hit before your body collides with your enemy you do massive damage. Once you collide your body it counts as standing still and does horrible damage. I killed a Sub Allo in two hits just because I timed the head slam right. It is super fun once you get the hang of it

it would work better if they fix the head slam hitbox, if you try to head slam then juke most of the times it will miss
