A test of the Emergency Broadcast System from KFCB, which at the time was a religious independent station in San Francisco, California (licensed to nearby Concord). This aired sometime in November 1986 during an episode of “Superbook”, which is a religious anime.
I think this might be the cheapest EBS Test I’ve seen so far. It appears the station simply took a picture of their EBS checklist, cut out the EBS logo, then chyroned it onto a blue background with the test script scrolling across underneath it. However, the worst part is that they didn’t even do a good job of doing so, as if you look carefully, you can still see part of the word “Check” underneath the EBS logo! I know they’re a religious independent station, but this is just lazy!
Today, KFCB is known as KTNC-TV and is affiliated with Tri-State Christian Television (TCT).

you are getting back to vhs openings & closings very soon?
Pretty low budget. It looks like they took a picture of the front cover of an EBS Check List and used that as the EBS logo.
I commented on that too, you can even still see "CHECK" if you look close enough. I wonder if there's even cheaper slides out there?
Hi I was just wondering if you have a video in your history of watching or in a playlist one called Nine News Emergency broadcast, it featured a reporter who said good morning we have breaking news coming in from Melbourne? You commented no more Daniel Andrews
I don’t get what you’re talking about.
@@TrickyMario7654 during the early days before Matt Yarnold after 2008 nuclear attack video. There was a mock that was about a fake news report starting on Channel 9. I’m not sure what year it was but was but there was an event going on in Melbourne
@@The_Merge I remember the video you’re talking about. I can’t recall what it’s called though.
@@TrickyMario7654alright then thanks, that is a bit unfortunate. I guess it will remain loss media for now
