I'd love to see the opposite. Start with only a small part of the world available, after a boss is defeated, more of the world becomes available. Gives a reason to go fight every boss.
@@Jisatsu what map is that Edit: thanks guys for telling me, for everyone else, if you looked at replies you would see that loads of people have already responded to me
Alright, so Terraria has 9 bosses that are required for game progression. (Skeletron, Wall of Flesh, The Twins, The Destroyer, Skeletron Prime, Plantera, Golem, Lunatic Cultist and Moon Lord) The world width is 4200 tiles, as said in the video. Since each boss removes 400 tiles, that means you can kill 10 bosses before the world gets too small to be shrunk again. You could also set Moon Lord as the 11th boss, and just shrink the world into nothingness once you beat the game. It would also be a really cool way to end the challenge, kinda like a bad ending to the game. Just imagine it: with his dying breath, the Moon Lord uses the last of his powers and completely wipe the world from existence.
I’ve always been a fan of you using the soundtrack to M&L:BIS (as it is the superior Mario and Luigi game) but hearing the tutorial theme when you started editing the world hit SO much different and I loved it
oh thaaaat’s what that was from that was torturing me. Luckily enough for me, that game was my first ever Mario game, but I was too young and unskilled to ever beat it lol
Honestly this channel is probably my favorite source of Terraria content, every video here, ESPECIALLY these challenging videos and the songs you choose to put in them accompany it so well. Keep up the good work 👍
This is a cool concept, please continue I hope there'll be enough jungle left for plantera and golem though, might need to just spawn in bulbs and the altar next to a reconstructed jungle biome. Save up those mud blocks and jungle seeds while you still can
An artificial jungle biome would work for plantera; the bulbs spawn on any jungle grass, no matter where it is, but WoS might end up having to give himself the Lihzard altar to kill Golem.
Ive WoS for a while now, around 8-9 months, and I can safely say that this is my favourite terraria content, the ideas, the editing, the humour, and my favourite; the music. It just makes a masterpiece of a video. Keep making great content :)
1:09 I once found 3 life crystals and 2 gold chests generated next to eachother, but it was in a public server which had hardmode turning off once in a while and spawned life crystals whenever it became hardmode again for people to get stronger, so I doubt it is as rare as it seems.
I like the music after minute 9. It just gives off a vibe like "this world is cursed and slowly disappearinng" while the surface is just barely holding on
I just have to say, thank you so much for putting songs in the descriptions AND THEN putting a playlist of all of your songs used, that makes me very happy
This is such a fascinating concept, I love it (Ant the Majoras Mask vibes on top were perfect) I wonder whether some of the dungeon may be sticking out far enough to the left side, so you could in theory still get in there. Sometimes dungeons have weird shapes ^^ Either way, I'm really curious about some of the upcoming challenges you'll face, so looking forward to more :)
This gave me a dumb idea, but I think that it might be interesting to see: A world flipped on it's side (the left would be the sky, hell at the right and the biomes would be kinda stacked at the middle). Anyways, this is a cool concept, I'm waiting for the next one!

Tbf fun fact Shakespeare was a horrible person who does not deserve the fame that he has today so if anything that would be an insult, but WoS’s ideas are very creative.
I feel like this would make an even better video if you prefected the concept, like make a large world and divide the length and height of the world by the number of bosses then you can take away that much each time, so you can skip bosses in favor of more world or kill them for better upgrades that way the world will be completely gone if you kill all the bosses or you'll have more fighting room for the moonlord if you decide to skip some!
your zenith series was perfect myself i created large world and beated terraria now only one sword needed for the zenith thx after you end this playthrough no armor or any defense buffs !
Thank you for making such amazing content, with beautiful music, an amazing terraria UA-cam channel, and a funny name, I love all your videos, and you are a staple of my childhood😉❤️

Fighting the Moon Lord in a 200 by 200 world will be interesting to say the least. But the bigger(or smaller) question is what will you be doing in a -200 by 100 world.
I just discovered something I thought to share here. If you don't believe me, consider it a myth: The Wall of Flesh's item box is relative to the size of the wall's body. I learned this via the randomizer mod, so it's impossible to test with vanilla (I think), but still. I also think Providence in calamity must use the same code, since it generates such a huge box.
My last terraria world was also extremely blessed. Found most of my life crystals in a single trip, 4 of them in the same granite cavern, hermes boots and cloud in a bottle in gold chests less than 100 tiles from each other, etc etc
I went to Hell looking for Hellstone today and I fell down realizing that there was only big huge lava pools throughout the whole map. No Hellstone nodes, no Hell Structures, just flat out Lava. Needless to say it was the best Wall of Flesh runway ever, but I had to quickly give up the world since a Dungeon didn't spawn either. It was a large world too.
More great content! Super excited to watch and thanks for giving something to look forward to in these hard times. Whether it’s terraria or BOTW you always make my day better! See you at the next video!
You could do this all In 1 world by adding a 400 block wide solid wall of a blocks that aren’t breakable until pretty late in the game (for example lizhard bricks) and then just make a rule that your not allowed to break it
About five years ago I was playing Terraria and I found three heart crystals right next to each other in a row. At the time I just thought to myself that it was pretty cool, but now that it’s many years later, and I’m not as much of an idiot kid anymore, I’ve realized how insanely rare this was. And I regret not saving the world seed somewhere. Because this would 100% give me about ten seconds of fame on Reddit, and I need that KARMA BABY
Super cool idea! I wasn’t sure at first how it would be entirely different from the 117 block playthrough, but the loss of height and loss of biomes made it clear pretty quickly how different it would be! Also, do small worlds just have wackier world gen? I’ve had the occasional weird hill, and had 4 heart crystal spawn within one screen width before, but nothing like some of your world gen. Maybe that’s because I play on large worlds? Who knows
I'm not sure if you'll see this, but there's an idea for a challenge that's been on my mind - Terraria, but you can only use your tools (Hammer/Axe/Pickaxe) as weapons. As a bonus, try to avoid any that are considered somewhat viable, such as the shroomite digging claws.
This was a really entertaining video to watch, and the music choices made it a pleasure to listen too as well! Your making me want to go replay majoras mask lol. Non-player chests repopulate proportionally (so if there were 100 chests, and the world shrank by 10%, there are now 90 chests, and now repopulate those 90 chests back into the world). Oh that's an awesome concept! Increasing world size sounds fun too! Oh and also, I'd like to leave my Boss Drops Only run idea here too: try to beat the game using tools and weapons that are crafted from/are boss drops.
