About 10 years before this speaking is when our Dad passed away and about 3 months before he died I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior and I called our Dad and told him about that. Hopefully he is in Heaven.

Romans 10:9 is not a complete word, Romans 10:9 through verse 13 is complete. Otherwise we would believe that in our vile unregenerate hearts we can cause ourselves to go to heaven. Trusting in our hearts, Jerrmiah 17:9, is foolishness! V 13 said we are to call on the name of the Lord? How? As Peter said to the Jews who were pricked in the heart. Acts 2:38. And as Paul did, Acts 22:16. John the Baptist said that the Messiah would baptize in the Holy Ghost. Paul did say that he did not baptize, that was not his ministry. But he did speak of it in Romans 6:3-11, Colossians 2:6-15. Peter called it baptized into a clear conscience. 1 Peter 3:32, 1 Corinthians 12:13. Baptism involves the confessing of sins. Matthew 3:6, Mark 1:5. Jesus said you must be born again. John 3:3-8. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is looking for a broken heart and a contrite spirit. Psalm 34:18. Ask God to send His Holy Spirit to you. He will come and do His work of reproving of sin, and of righteousness and of judgment. John 16:8. The Holy Spirit will come to you and bring your sins to mind. As He does, confess them to Jesus. This is painful. When you see the evil you have done against a loving God and the natural depravit of your hearf, call out to Jesus to save you.
