I think that Julie needs to tell Atticus off when things get out of hand, I understand he is a little boy but come on. I'm not here to question and belittle her parenting but it is a bit ridiculous. If you don't fix things like lying and disrespect at a young age they never learn.

@@Girly_tbr correct but usually you’ll find parents encourage their child’s cognitive development instead of giving in to everything they say and letting them get away with everything , including punching Julie in the face , resulting in Atticus being a brat . They reward him for the littlest tasks and i’m just confused why . At the age of six , a child refusing to do certain things such as trying certain foods should not be encouraged or laughed at because it’s restricting his development and he’s gonna grow up thinking he’ll always get his own way .
