- The adventure starts NOW! We're on an island in Georgian Bay, Ontario, ready to embark on our biggest and best cottage project yet! At over 4,000 square feet, this landmark property has 4 bedrooms, 4 baths and a whole lot of living space - including a sinking boat house! It's got tons of potential but it's stuck in an 80’s time warp meets Caribbean-themed resort (think Golden Girls goes to Bahamas!). From banana leaf chandeliers, to embroidered couches, to an over the top coral, moss and turquoise colour palette, the entire property needs a major overhaul. And Alex and I, along with our trusty Design Life Crew, are just the team to do it. Tune in as we transform this outdated property into a contemporary, cozy cottage in signature Sarah Style! I concur with everyone else who has commented thus far! Cannot WAIT! One of many, many things I love about Sarah’s shows is her spatial sense (of which I have none) and the way she maneuvers the cleverest ways to maximize the space with which she is “provided”. I can see why she and Alex have fallen in love with this “cottage”. It is stunning. Just the boathouse alone! By the time the two of them are finished, it will be absotively epic. Not only are the architectural/decorative elements exciting to watch, I also love the furnishing bits and the antiquing adventures, the colour choices, the FABRICS! Gah! So excited! Bring it on, Sarah and Alex.

I love how the Richardson name was on the boathouse above the door in her favourite colour. Is that a sign or what, eh?
Is anyone else looking forward to the hair clips? Sarah is still just as beautiful with big hair, no showers. Lol. Alex, cracked me up. It’s big hair day. 😂 this is going to be epic. We all love y’all. Good luck, we know it’s going to be amazing.
Wonderful to see you back! I have checked several times for new videos from you. I always love the island renos. But, yikes, baby rattlesnakes? I grew up on a farm and my cousin’s family down the dirt road, must have been the late 70s, kept finding baby rattlesnakes in their house. 😮They eventually discovered the mother rattlesnake behind the dryer. Hope you didn’t have a similar experience.
