hi, please help me... I bought something like that and have set the spindle 1000RPM (S-Value 1000) 125mm/m but it can't cut 12mm softboard. May I know what the focusing distance is from the laser to the object and the power supply you use, 12 Volts, how many amperes?
hi sorry for late reply, focusing distance from material surface to the laser casing body for this is about 3~4mm, please note that distance is not from the laser lens. what is your laser power btw? if 5 watt, it won't cut no matter how many passes. i tried it. if 10w, maybe multiple passes will do?
yes 12v and about 3A
i wish you will have success.
Thanks so much for your reply, I have the same C80-EAIR 10Watt.
Yes yesterday i try about half from the standart focusing and it can cut PLYWOOD 9mm but it take so long time because of 5-6 Pass, and cut MDF/HDF 5mm with 5 Pass.
I am using 12V 5A adapter, because when I start using 12V 3A it do to protect on the psu so I change with 5Amp PSU, and i think it need more current because when start cutting on 100% laser, the fan can be heard spinning more slowly.
I need to cut 12mm plywood but it can't @@krazifapps1806
