The size of this cyst is pretty incredible. The sac looks very large too. His chest still looks puffy and full. He's the one who wound up getting the hematoma too.
This cyst HUGE, indeed! This is the same patient who developed a hematoma a couple of days post-op. Fortunately, everything healed up very well and he’s doing great! 🙏🏽
Great video and procedure went well. I had a hard time concentrating after the doctor took off his surgical garb.... I was a little lost at that point. Good work doc!
This one is one of the few large ones that I can truly understand allowing to get so large. The gentleman probably hadn't noticed it was there until it was quite large. Great extraction BTW. I still love the way your hands work doc.
I had watched some of your videos on silent before, but my respect for you sky rocketed while watching this one with sound. I think the procedure was clean, neat, and efficient, and you spoke with the patient during in a way that was informative and friendly. 👍
That was awesome. I love how you empty it first which allows for a smaller incision. The conversation was hilarious! I’ve had to cut open and clean many a cat abscess. (Yep-not a doc here.). I love watching your channel.

The patient did have a very nice hairy chest. Lol. Seriously though his may not of hurt but when you get one of the nipple man they hurt. You always do an amazing job and such relaxing conversation for your patients. Great bedside manners and all in all a great Doctor. God’s blessings

I assisted with many of these cysts over my 40 years in physicians' offices. Love to see beautiful technique done without pain to the patient. Makes me want to un-retire.

How does the Dr know where the sac ends if he cuts it ?
I carefully inspect the surgical site to ensure there is no residual sac.
There is a difference in look and feel between the sac and the surrounding tissues.

Most of these cysts have actually been present for many years. Sometimes they just reach a point where my patients prefer to have them removed. 😉
