I always find the door arrangements of tents the most perplexing thing. Hilleberg’s diagrams don’t explain it at all, and various videos usually just show tents with door already open, but often there are multiple ways of using the door depending on the weather and personal preference. With these BL GTs I’ve seen that you can zip the door in a way that keeps snow/dirt/animals out of the tent but retains the view/ventilation at the top (+/- mosquito netting). Also good if you use a camping chair inside! I’d love one but 3.7kg is too much for me to carry alone, and the tent’s length might make it difficult to find a suitable spot in upland Britain’s knobbly hills and mountains. I might go for the non-GT version instead.

Just now, 2 weeks ago I've purchased this tent. It is a whole, complete "minimalist home"! Good for me because I switched to the "minimalist lifestile" in all field of life. The tent is great stuff! My next step is to order a footprint and some other extras (poles and so on). The only disadvantage is that the shipping time is too long, I don't know why. But at least quality item.
