A toothpick does a good job too. When you see how far a flick goes, it makes you more aware of why the virus spreads when someone coughs or sneezes. The colours look very pretty! I like the colours.
Agreed! I adored where she "over-flicked". Reminds me of the chameleon skin technique I've seen another artist do, but Gilly's is more random & organic. It's fabulous!
This is superb technique of using your finger to spread silicone oil once you are done with the tilting. I love it. Will surely try it out myself as well. Thank you for sharing this idea.
It is gorgeous! You should stop second guessing yourself. You are so very talented and and to be sharing with us is delightful. I love love love your art. Thank you.
This makes me think of a springtime pond with the water rippling after you toss a stone in it. It's absolutely gorgeous & one of my favorites that you've done!
Before you flicked, I thought it looked like a rain puddle. After you flicked it was a rain puddle with it raining. I love those cells. Its beautiful! Love the color choices!!!!
Ciao Bella luna.
Found your page two days ago and have been binge watching since! Beautiful art and thank you for inspiring my creative side. Love from San Antonio, Texas USA!
The bits with the "over" flicking go from looking like cells to looking like lacing in my opinion, which then kinda spreads out into cells and it looks really pretty.
I actually have done several ring pours with silicone in the paint and I really like them a lot...I’ve got some amazing and cool effects...it was accidental the first time using leftover paint that had silicone in it and I didn’t know but it was so neat that I did it on purpose several times since✌️❤️tfs
I love watching you both but the clarification was definitely helpful. You both have different styles and I truly like your style better. And you're a harder worker in my opinion as you really focus on our experience and that means a lot. Your personality is infectious which keeps me coming back. Thank you for sharing your art, your personality, and your story. Classy lady💖
Can I just say, you are such a giggle to watch!!!! I have been up in pain all night but you have helped me through it and even made me smile. Take care cos I care xx
Yeah, putting it on canvas creates "silicone resistance"! Not fun is it? The same can happen if you don't mix silicone in well with paints, especially on edges...so frustrating!
When you started out saying you were just going to flick a little silicone I was curious how it would react but wow, wasn't expecting that explosion of cells! Very pretty Julie.
Yours is one of the only acrylic pours I've seen done where the artist knows when to stop! Apparently, it's really easy to go overboard, way past the point where an acrylic pour looks its best. Here, you stopped and added the silicone cells just at the right point! Perfect! This is really neat-o! Thanks so much for the upload, and Greetings to you, JULIE, from the USA!
Hi Julie. I really enjoyed the video. The painting is amazing. When I look at it from the middle outward, it almost reminds me of water with colorful suds going down a drain. So beautiful!
Oooohhhh I do like that. It gives you the look of some sort of underwater scene with a beautiful whirlpool. I have to say. I love it. I may even give it a shot myself. Thank you for sharing x
I had to level my table the other day by myself also. After several tries, it dawned on me to use my foot to slide the wedge under the leg when I lift the table. Now I have a level table. Happy camper here!
I love, Love, LOVE this! ❤ It's unique, & I love all the cells. What a great idea to flick the oil! Thank you for sharing. You always have a positive attitude. Its very uplifting. 🎨🌞
Hello from the US, love you! I’ve learned so much. I was very confused at first between the both of you. Everything so similar. Studio, Australia, Queensland, and humor. Thank you for beautiful pours.
You’re the only Julie I know and love!!❤️ Very pretty pour! YOU’RE the best!! Love it! Thanks for sharing this with us! Be safe. Don’t sweat the small stuff...or people!❤️❤️
I think the cells in this painting are perfect just the way they turned out! Maybe I'm just a fan of the speckled look. I totally agree with another commenter who remarked they look like shimmering, rainbow-colored fish scales!
Oh, I do like this quite a lot! My daughter is the "cell queen" -- never uses silicone but always gets cells. I can literally take the cup she just finished pouring from, pour out the rest of the paint onto a different canvas, and get maybe two cells. Don't know what the difference is. But I'm going to give this a try -- maybe I can give "the cell queen" a run for her money. ;)
Hi Julie, Im enjoying your pouring demos ❤ Great to hear your Aussie accent, I'm watching from SA. Thanks for your explanations and sharing your experience. Love your art
I love you and am so grateful for this channel. Gilly has some cool stuff sure. Your creations truly have opened my eyes and heart to a new world. Be well on the other side of the world and thank you for these creations. 🌅🎨🙏🏾😍🏝🎶👏🏾💜🔥
The cells came out great 👍 I like all the multicolored cells all over the canvas
I'm not sure what it is about it, but it gives me nostalgic vibes and makes me think of the Rainbow Fish story as a kid
I absolutely adore that story!
YES!
Omg yess when I saw this I did like that croaky gasp cause like it’s sooo true
I loved that story. I still have a copy of it somewhere
Love Gilly she has a wonderful group of followers! ❤️
A toothpick does a good job too. When you see how far a flick goes, it makes you more aware of why the virus spreads when someone coughs or sneezes.
The colours look very pretty! I like the colours.
That came out amazing! Your excitement makes it even better!
The area where you thought you had too many cells was my favorite, and the whole piece is stunning. Great work! 😁

Gilly Kube has a completely different style! I find it hard to believe anyone would get the styles confused. Names yes, but certainly not your art!
No confusion here! Your signature is your voice, personality and beautiful art!

Wow!!! Artists never cease experimenting to discover new things and create such magnificent works of art!!! 🥰

The way the light and dark blue rings are laid out, they give a 3D loo, to the whole painting. I love it!!

Wow what a great piece. What a surprise after flicking silicone. I blinked and 'alacazam' cells like magic. Thank you for sharing. 😃

You are the best instructor and a gracious human. Always look forward to next video.
Can I just say, you are such a giggle to watch!!!! I have been up in pain all night but you have helped me through it and even made me smile. Take care cos I care xx
I did this by accident once-flicking the silicone on the painting after I poured-and it was awesome. Yours is even better. 😍
Yeah, putting it on canvas creates "silicone resistance"! Not fun is it? The same can happen if you don't mix silicone in well with paints, especially on edges...so frustrating!
This is the prettiest paint pour I have ever seen! WOW!
I loved it before the silicone..LOVED it after
That. Is. AWESOME!!! LOVE THE YELLOW AREAS ESPECIALLY!
This is ah-maze-ing! One of my favorites of yours and there are many! Like a bubbling whirlpool rising up over colorful pebbles. Love it.
When you started out saying you were just going to flick a little silicone I was curious how it would react but wow, wasn't expecting that explosion of cells! Very pretty Julie.
Thank you for that!!!! I've been hoping you would try that and it turned just like I hoped it would. Wonderful!❤
I am so enjoying learning with your videos. You make me smile !
Beautiful! A colorful Vortex. Gorgeous!
I only discovered acrylic pouring youtube videos in March 2020 I have been watching you ever since. So Hi from Ontario, Canada! Love your pours!
Very pretty love the way you got the cells up and it hid the funny bit beautifully
Could never mistake you for the other Australian Acrylic Pouring person. You're so much better!!
Yours is one of the only acrylic pours I've seen done where the artist knows when to stop! Apparently, it's really easy to go overboard, way past the point where an acrylic pour looks its best.

I just tried your flick method and I am so happy, Julie!! Thank you-I finally got tons of cells!
Well I used your method and I got the best cells ever. 👏👏
Thanks Gilly, u always make me smile
looks like bubbles floating to the surface near a very colorful coral reef! good vibes
Hi Julie. I really enjoyed the video. The painting is amazing. When I look at it from the middle outward, it almost reminds me of water with colorful suds going down a drain. So beautiful!
So colorful, pretty rainbow colored ring🥰 didn't expect the end result with the cells.
Oh my goodness! I love the color scheme and it feels like I am underwater exploring the beautiful ocean floor!💙🐠
We will have to try this out!
I think it's beautiful. I love all the cells.❤❤

Hello from the US, love you! I’ve learned so much.
I was very confused at first between the both of you. Everything so similar.
Studio, Australia, Queensland, and humor. Thank you for beautiful pours.
Very pretty! I like the silicone flicked on after. They look like pearls!💕
Love the cells... looks like confetti!
was not expecting the tea that came with this video but im absolutely here for it
So sorry about your troubles with Gilly, because I like you both hope you guys can work it out, after all we should be here to support each other💞
Honestly- one of the best ring pours I've seen in a while
You have just given me some hope for cells
I love this. I did not think you flicked that much silicone. Looked like one little flick to me! You are very creative! And courageous!
AWESOMELY BEAUTIFUL FANTASTIC COLORS LOVE IT!!!
Gorgeous pour!!! Gilly and you are my fav UA-camrs. She often speaks highly of you and supports you on her videos. Give her a break? Love you both.
This piece makes me feel like I'm inside a sea shell with the ocean coming up and over.. Loooooove this so much!!!! New subscriber!!
What can I say? Stunning. I am learning so much from you. I love your work, I lovd your style. You are amazing.
This painting is soo fun!
Cell city! Super cool.
That worked out beautifully! Really liked what the silicon flicking did.
I use a toothbrush to flick silicone on it .. came out similar
Great idea
You’re the only Julie I know and love!!❤️ Very pretty pour! YOU’RE the best!! Love it! Thanks for sharing this with us! Be safe. Don’t sweat the small stuff...or people!❤️❤️
Pretty. Like the colors together
I love the smaller cells and the colour combination.
The one and only Julie!
Hi 🙋♀️ Julie
I enjoy watching how you pulling all this paint together and it turns out so amazing! 🙂🙋♀️
I loved this. All of the little cells were like stars. Beautiful.
Love love love. Thank you for showing us to make cells JULIE!!!!
Love your videos, so fun to watch and listen to you. Be safe when you go back to work

Same with myself and one of my grand daughters. She gets the cells, I don't, weird
@@heatherbrooks7006 I'm glad to know it's not just me! :D
Wow... that is postively gorgeous!
I watch you all the time! Thanks for all the advice you give and I love the cells. I might try that!
I love these colors together so pretty
You are THE Julie.
So beautiful!
That is awesome!!! It’s really stunning!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
From South Africa but have loads of family in Australia and a friend. Third video watching. Love it and your comments 😘😃
I have family in SA
Beautiful colors and awesome cells! Gotta try flicking my silicone!
I like this. Good technique idea. I also like that all of us can follow and support both of you!
So beautiful!!!
I am only half way through watching and think that the rings look amazing and the colours are lovely. ... Now to continue watching 😉
So so so beautiful!!! I absolutely love all of the cells that your flicking made.
For the paint to be as thin as it was your rings really held the lines. Usually they blur or blend when that thin.. nice one.
Stunning ❤️
This looks so cool! I love that all the purplish blue cropped out and thinned out the yellow! so pretty!
I love this!!
Hi Julie, Im enjoying your pouring demos ❤

Gosh that turned out beautifully!!!!
Beautiful
so pretty!!!! A dash of talcum/baby powder to hands makes gloves go on easier (an old nurse trick). Happy painting to all ! Fran in NM
Truly gorgeous!!!! A must try for me. As a new pourer I'm still figuring out mix ratios that work for me and creating cells.
It's pretty and amazing at same time! I really like it!
Cells just like you , they always come out nice .
Be safe and stay healthy going back to work. Love your work!!
Love Love Love This!!!!! And have to agree total Rainbow Fish theme.
It looks like bubbles coming up from the middle. Very nice!
Oh my gosh Julie that is amazing. I Absolutely love it.
