Nice restore and build. I'm in the process of doing an 1985 SD33t model in Australia. Your rust was a lot worse than mine. This has given me confidence that I can save her!
@@samshitboxcoonz it's coming along nicely now. Roof was the worst by far. If you see any in the gutters, there will be more under the skin as they rust from the inside out with the condensation. Being in NZ and not as hot there it might not be as bad. Definitely give it a crack, awesome rigs to build.. I'm about to start the driveline and engine, finally some fun stuff haha
YOU HAVE TO HAVE A HELL OF A PATIENCE TO DO THIS KIND OF RESTORATION GIVEN THE STATE OF THE VEHICLE AT THE BEGINNING I TELL YOU BRAVO MAN YOUR INSURANCE💯💯💯💯💯💯
this is so so so cool i have a 160 patrol too lwb mines a p40 the petrol six banger and its an absolute dream ive gotta tell u it feels so good to see real enthusiasts restoring these beauties fun thing about them is that the newer cars will underestimate you till they beg you to recover them cheers mate
Good effort I have MQ ute 3,3 hasn't left me walking for 22 yrs has had lot of wheel combination s over years but hands down drives best with stock 750x16 you will never wear your s out thanks for sharing
Any tips for someone embarking on a similar project? Anything you wish you had done differently or known earlier? Bloody ripper job, love the blue interior haha
Tänud. Kasutasin originaal amorte. Esimesi sai veidi pikemaks keevitatud. Sillad toimivad siiani suurepäraselt, pole ka ekstreemaemates oludes alt vedanud.

Perfect! 160 TD is the best! Did you also weld the frame rails?
Yes but only few pieces needed to replace. Luckily the frame was in pretty good shape.
we have the same, only you need to paint it and make a salon and that's it
Thats good. These cars will never die :)

Super töö! Mis amorte tõste juures kasutasite? Kas 36 rehv sildadele pole hakanud?

Hi, with the 36" tyres, how tall is the lift of your suspension? Tnx.
Lift is about 6-7 inches :)
@@indrek06 Thanks! Did you lower your front diff? What ACU did you use? Cheers!
How dose it handle with spring over lift
It handles very good actually. Driving over 100km/h (60mph) has not any problems.
Whats the disc brake u have used ?
A Nissan Patrol original ones :)
Lift 6 ??
About 6 inches yes :)
Dream Car ✨✌️
Thanks!

Why would you spend all that time restoring it and then put those silly wheels and raise the car?!
Because It's my project and It's the way I like it. :)
