Good review. Being an iPhone 8 Plus owner myself I felt the 8 Plus photos showed what you really look like in those environments while the S9 Plus seemed to enhance the lighting in the environment thus not showing what things would actually look like to the naked eye. I'm not trying to be biased, just realistic. Again, great review. thank you.
I don’t know. Whenever I think of Samsung whether it’s pbones or televisions, I just think of unnatural color. A lot of it seems to have an added light and color feature to it. I know their televisions have more artificial light than natural light, and sometimes it feels like that’s what happening with their cameras as opposed to the natural lighting you’d get with a good portrait mode photograph from the 8 plus.

A month ago, I bought an iPhone 8 plus while my best friend bought the Samsung S9 plus. We were on vacation and she preferred being photographed by my phone haha Samsung just adds tooo much contrast, the lighting is poor, while the pictures taken with an iPhone are so realistic, more in depth with colours.. the pictures were taken from the same angle, so yeah. By the way, I was an Android user, and I LOVE the App Store now, you can pretty much get any app whereas on Samsung you can’t. The phone is very fast. I use it all day and the battery lasts me the whole day, ocasionally, when I don’t use it as much, I don’t recharge in days.

For me, the iPhone 8 just wins hands down... the S9 has just too much contrast, over - bright and too soft.. the iPhone is very natural... If you adjusted the EV down 1 stop to -0.3 on the S9... that would fix it...

There is not much difference between iPhone 7 and iPhone 8. If you have 7 not 7 Plus, then bigger screen would be the only completion reason to upgrade, otherwise, I would save my money. Question for you: you are here because of technical upgrade on iphone, I also make travel videos, do you appreciate those as well or they seem off topic on my channel? I make those because I love filming and it is a way for me to enjoy filming and show good footage as well.

i'm looking for the best smartphone camera mainly for filming material for cheap music videos in 4k/60fps and full hd/60fps, so i don't care about the sound quality, i also want to make photos and process and edit all of the content afterwards on a computer .... what i read so far, the iphone 8+ has a more natural quality compared to the more saturated quality of the s9+, so maybe the iphone suits my needs more but i'm really not sure, i would be grateful for your advice ... i'm also interested in every other smartphone that could fit my needs best like the huawei p20, but the last time i checked it has no video stabiization in 4k, so that's a bummer, even i would film most of the time with a tripod

I will never spend my money on samsung again, note8 was my last. Going back to iphones. Samsung phones stop running latest android in 2 to 3 years and Apple runs latest IOS for about 6 years. And samsung depreciates badly and has very poor resale value. If you buy Samsung, don't keep it for long and when you sell it it will go very cheap. 2013 iphone 5s runs latest IOS 12.1 whereas 2013 galaxy s4 was abandoned on android kit-kat. Horrible neh. ..Yeah.
i dont know of a person who buys a phone with resale value in mind, if thats you, kudos. i buy a phone for what its giving me at the moment, which is fun.

Iphone is realistic not filtered! S9 over saturated. Well if ur tired of doing filter go for S9 if u want natural looking or pictures tell the truth go for iPhone8 plus. Anyways if uwant to filter there are bunch of filter apps. I am Samsung User they are both good...
also there are filter apps to reduce the saturation, or you can do that manually in the samsung camera settings.

IPhone 8plus the best camera phone
I am using 8plus but i m thinking to switching toward Galaxy 9plus due to following reasons
1. Battery timming
2. Storage issue (in order to get rid of other storage junk ,occupying alot of GB's i have to reset phone couple of times in a year)
3. Videos can't be easily downloaded
4. Apps are not free
5. Alot of usless by default apps (e.g Stock,Siri,Facetime)
6. Data Transering issues
7. Icloud issues ,only 5GB Free ..........really ? What the Heck . required to get premium package and pay monthly , depend upon package one subscribes
8. Alot of PDF files and documents are not easily downloaded through iphone and many other reasons
