I took a lot of history and government classes in school. For the life of me I don't remember the part where the Senate President or Senate pro tempore is allowed to say "No, looks to me like a policy issue." and completely ignore articles of impeachment. I don't recall Congress having to ask permission to hold someone in contempt of Congress. They wouldn't be taking these extreme measures if they thought they would be held accountable, they aren't that courageous or patriotic. I think hemp justice would stop a lot of this.

I took a lot of history and government classes in school. For the life of me I don't remember the part where the Senate President or Senate pro tempore is allowed to say "No, looks to me like a policy issue." and completely ignore articles of impeachment. I don't recall Congress having to ask permission to hold someone in contempt of Congress.
They wouldn't be taking these extreme measures if they thought they would be held accountable, they aren't that courageous or patriotic. I think hemp justice would stop a lot of this.
