The kebab recipe at Tunday is actually known as Galavati Kebab. Galavat refers to it's texture which so soft and light that it melts in one's mouth. They use raw papaya paste in the recipe to tenderize the meat. The papain enzyme present in the papaya breaks down the meat and makes the mince extremely soft.
Fun fact. Galawati kebab and tunday kebabs are different. They're both incredibly soft but galawati is made with chicken while tunday kebab with red meat. The speciality of tunday kebab is its 100+ herbs and spices and the century old restaurant in old Lucknow. They're both from Lucknow though. Source: local

I absolutely don't mean to sound like a prick but in reality majority of Indians consume meat, albeit not so frequently. For example we eat meat and chicken every other day, same with my relatives and we're all as Hindu as any Hindu in the nation. As per my knowledge Gujarat and Rajasthan are the only states where majority is strictly vegetarian. Please don't take this negatively I mean no harm.

I just finished touring the entire United states, and I must say...what a beautiful country and very nice people, specially out west in Montana, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Wyoming, etc. Funny enough, I have only started to realize the beauty of India after exploring America. I would highly suggest that you explore the mountains starting from Himachal Pradesh going all the way up to Kashmir and Lay Ladakh. You can also explore the south and visit places like Meghalaya, Goa, Kerala. Shilong and Andamar and Nicobar islands are also very nice. All the best in your travels brother!
I have travelled all over India and I can easily claim that overall Lucknow has the best food out there. The taste is just on point. You can enjoy veg and non-veg equally. Every other restaurant looks like underrated.

Awesome video as always. Surprised to see how a restaurant needs to advertise that they are the most hygienic in India as a selling point. That speaks volumes about the hygiene of other eateries in India.
That's because Street Food and roadside eateries don't come under Food Safety Regulations. They don't require Government Certification to operate. Hence when you're eating something on the street, you're at your own risk something mutually understood by both the seller and buyer. So hygiene becomes a selling point.

Operating a street food stall in China doesn't mean you can scratch your head, cook your customer's order and handle money at the same time.

Max, you’ll realize that as you go south, people drink more coffee and less tea. It’s a cultural thing in India. Families have been producing coffee since the past 400 years in the western ghats in the state of Karnataka. You should definitely visit there. There are small villages nested in the mountains covered by lush green forests! Very beautiful place!

Awesome video as always. Surprised to see how a restaurant needs to advertise that they are the most hygienic in India as a selling point. That speaks volumes about the hygiene of other eateries in India.
That's because Street Food and roadside eateries don't come under Food Safety Regulations. They don't require Government Certification to operate. Hence when you're eating something on the street, you're at your own risk something mutually understood by both the seller and buyer. So hygiene becomes a selling point.
@@essee3984 I don't doubt that's true in India but the rest of the world operates on food and health safety regulations for both street food and restaurants like in China. Operating a street food stall in China doesn't mean you can scratch your head, cook your customer's order and handle money at the same time.
@@willchu then perhaps you should pay extra and eat from a proper place if you want quality and hygiene. There's a reason street food is cheap. Nobody's forcing anyone to buy street food. You know what you're paying for and risks involved. It's like buying cheap Chinese electronic products. There's no guarantee of quality.
if you visit Kolkata Kolkata you have to try the famous mutton biryani. best mutton biryani are found in Dada Boudi hotel of Barrackpore and arsalan of park street. do try sweets from bhim nag of bowbazar, Girish Chandra Dey & Nakur Chandra Nandy, Nalin Chandra Das and Sons from Hedua and Balaram Mullick & Radharaman Mullick of Bhowanipore. misti hub in front of Eco Park, India's largest Park(480acres) has got some of the the best sweet shops of Kolkata under one roof- heaven for sweet lovers. south kolkata and east kolkata is the most developed part of the city. please do check out Rajarhat Newtown in the east of the city.

You need to know coffee is the main breakfast starter in the south of India as tea is in other parts of India.
Max, you’ll realize that as you go south, people drink more coffee and less tea. It’s a cultural thing in India. Families have been producing coffee since the past 400 years in the western ghats in the state of Karnataka. You should definitely visit there. There are small villages nested in the mountains covered by lush green forests! Very beautiful place!
