This is a pretty nice kit from amt. I remember building this kit as a teen. I built it start to finish while watching the 24hrs of Le Man's. Great build you've done also.
Fine looking Camaro!,i'd forgotten about the rearview mirror molded in like that,i believe they did that with the 66'nova as well, when it was first released.
Very nice build. Excellent work with the air induction. AMT kits get a bad rap at times, but they make many very good kits. The sliver is a good color even though it was not available. Nice video. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful build! It's sounds funny to hear of a Chevy 302 when all have heard of the more common Ford 302 engine. One of the guys I went to school with had a 4 door Chevelle with a 302 in it. First time I ever heard of it. Anyways Thanks for sharing your build.
Great looking build, I always enjoy your videos with all the facts and history behind the cars. I built that kit recently, not as the Z28 but after my old 68 Camaro I had in about 1978, I thought it was a great kit, nicely detailed. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us!
My 69 Z was so popular that I had a 4 friends purchase new 1980 Zs. And 1 friend that found a butternut yellow 68 Z that had been de-tuned (local SCCA race car) and made street legal again.
Very cool! I entertained buying a 74 Z/28 project that was nice and had lots of parts to go with it. It was actually a good project but I really didn’t have much room for it with what I already had. Plus I was not as excited about the 74 body changes as I really like the 70-73s. So I passed but wish I didn’t.
I know it has been released recently. I believe it had all the stock and street machine parts in it. I didn’t buy one though. I have a few of the older issues still.

Thanks. I have done a 24hr build twice. Was fun but exhausting.
Thank you for the info, research, knowledge. And sharing. I have that kit, now it means even more to me.
Great! Thank you.
You did that old amt kit some justice... awsome build
Thank you!
Awesome build! You’re a modeling artist!
Thank you!
Ralph, Another nice Build...Color is great...I really enjoy your work!...Thanks for sharing!...Aloha, Wayne
Thank you!
Looks awesome! I’m building the same kit right now.
Thanks. Enjoy it!

I don’t know how many different kits they did that to. Didn’t last long!
This was a very cool niche build my friend!
Thanks buddy!
Such a classic kit. You did an Excellent job with it!!!! Thanks for sharing
It's a nice kit! I may have to pick up one more of the newest issue.
Smart looking ride and build. Cheer's JV
Thank you!

Thanks! I believe you could special order the silver on it. I know a few Z/28s are coded special paint in the registry.
@@TheMuscleCarModeler Being able to special order silver would make sense.

Thank you! Did you know AMC also had a 304?
Yes. One of my friends had a Jeep Comando with one.
I seen a 74 Hornet Sportabout with a 304. Thought that was cool. My Moms 73 Hornet Sportabout was a 258 inline 6. Most the ones I seen were 6cl cars.
great build man!
Thank you!
@@TheMuscleCarModeler no problem.

Great. Very cool that you got to replicate an old car you had.
Awesome build love Z-28s always happy to see your builds I am a 442guy and own a 71 W-30 looking forward to seeing your 71when it is completed thanks
Thanks. Been slowly working on that as well. Did the decals on that as well when I did the carbon fiber decals.
Looks great like the history of it
Thank you!
Steller job as always my man
Thanks!
wow that is a really nice build !
Thank you!
I like this kit, the only issue I've had is the lower front valence tends to be warped.
Cool. Is that on the newer issued kits? I haven’t had that issue but I have older issues of them.
Good looking build 🤙🏼
Thank you!
great vid Raoul maybr if it were mine i might paint it in a aluminum no flake so to speak thanks gotta get another 68 😅got to many on the bench now 😁
I know what you mean. I have so many bouncing on and off my workbench. Not getting much done.

One of the first kits I bought when I got back into modeling. It's definitely a nice kit. Did AMT release this again as a curbside?
I know it has been released recently. I believe it had all the stock and street machine parts in it. I didn’t buy one though. I have a few of the older issues still.
pss i lean more toward the gm frost colors 68-70 green blue gold & silver 🤔 vinal top or no🤣
