These selfish, nasty men are intolerable. They dare bring up children, family, and how the wife should just tolerate their cheating in order to protect the family...disgusting. It was HIS job to protect and HE DID NOT. So she is free to GO!
His character was disgusting buf i cant give kudos to the wife because she was ab enabler. He actively hunted his young, easily intimidated, assistant down and took advantage of her while she was drunk. She even said it was just a matter of time before he got what he wanted so thats why she didnt stop him. The issue was the question of rape. I held he did rape her because she was too drunk to consent. This series was really good but the women really fed his ego and his character is so narcissistic he truly doesnt comprehend why he was wrong. And if the legal and justice system really operates there as depicted, then i feel bad for victims because he was allowed to meet with the victim, he recorded the interaction, he intimidated her the entire time, the police dont understand wha constitutes rape/harassment. He clearly knew she was intimidated but because he never raised his voice or attempted violence he thought he did nothing wrong. From his wife to his mistress to his colleaues, they all said the assistant must be trying to trap him because he's so handsome and rich. They contributed to his actions by enabling and nornalizing his behavior. This is a series to watch. But i was pissed watching how the women acted, except a female detective whi tried to explain why what hd did was rape.

Everyone around him told him that but I was like wth are they seeing that I'm not 😂 😂 😂 Also, female lawyer was traumatized for years over the professor touching her shoulders. It was highly inappropriate but that traumatized her for years! And I know there were other moments he probably made her uncomfortable but I was like that was lightweight for me. I've been sexually harassed...male colleague groped me from behind and got reported and smacked. And that was only one instance. I'm not traumatized but it pissed me off that anyone should be subjected to this. Some women tell others it's just something we have to deal with and accept to which I say why should I. NO one has the right to harass, I don't care who they are. Put them in their place and stand your ground. We have to change the culture that just let's it slide, why should we have to accept it.
