Good morning from from Pittsburgh Pa. USA… just came across your channel and totally enjoyed you and the information. All the best !!! 🌻🌺🌸🌻🌺🌸🌻 #1 fan from Pittsburgh Gene
Hi Sarah, gorgeous flowers and how lovely for a bride yo be able to purchase from you and arrange them herself too ❤️ the personal touch from you must be really special too. Thanks for sharing and take 🙂
What a lovely video! I enjoyed watching and always look forward to each video you share! The flowers are all so beautiful! What a huge amount you picked for your bride!
Hi from the US! Thank you for creating this channel and making great videos! You are very transparent and real with flower farming which is also encouraging when i am frustrated, If possible, i would love to purchase merch. Thank you again!
Lovely, as usual. If your Brides were ok with it, I would love to see photos of what they do with the flowers. Also, I really like the new branding font. Looking good! 🙂
Hi Sarah, I really enjoy your content. Thank you for that. Quick question, are you not worried about larkspur being poisonous to animals? I want to grow it but am worried about my dog
You picked a lovely array of blooms! I'd be interested in a t shirt. I'd prefer v neck...you could always do what roots and refuge does with their merch, they take pre orders for a month. I'm in US so I guess it will depend on shipping costs as well.
Thank you so much for sharing all your knowledge! I love your new branding and the color palette you have chosen. I'm in the US and would totally be interested in purchasing some of your merchandise! I love the color of your t-shirt but would prefer the logo on the front only. I was curious if you ever have a problem with your paper getting wet after you put them in the buckets? Seems like without fail this always happens to mine...even when I have the water down low. Keep up the good work and I always am looking forward to your next video!
Hi Tracey, my paper is mildly waterproof, it has a sheen to it, I’ve used Kraft paper that isn’t waterproof before and I’ve had the same problems you describe, the water soaks up into it. Maybe you ought to look out for some different paper?
Gorgeous collection of flowers, sounds like a very reasonable price to me, hope she shared with you. Really like the new font, are you planning to offer a few colors for your clothing items.? And I see other channels have their merch along the bottom of the info for the video. Hope you have a nice week ahead.
Thankyou Sarah. This has cheered me up. I find your videos both therapeutic (I suffer from PTSD) and really informative (I am growing flowers for my daughters wedding in September). My autumn sown Ammi majus and Larkspurs are madly flowering now. I have cut the flowers to try and keep them producing. Some of the plants just died after. Do you have any advice about how to encourage plants esp Ammi to keep going until Autumn? Also would love to know...how did you get on with your direct sown bed!? Thankyou for sharing with us ") Tracey
Hi Tracey, I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Usually annuals like ammi and larkspur will only produce for about 6 weeks at a time, did you sow more in spring or early this summer for a succession of flowers? I will let you know on my farm tour video coming soon 😁
Love watching your videos! Thank you for sharing. I was wondering how you secure your landscape fabric early in the season before the plants grow up and assist in keeping it in place? My flower field is a very open area and I’ve been struggling to keep it secure. If you ever end up being able to send merch to the US, let us know! I’m sure there are quite a few of us that are interested! Thank you!
Hi Christina, I use 6 inch ground staples, because I have walked on my paths a lot over the course of the last few years they are firm enough to hold the staples in. I don’t seem to get any problems with the weed membrane blowing off. I will keep you updated re. The merch!
@@bloomandgray Thanks! I just received a box of 6in staples and was really hoping that would be the thing to work. It was very defeating seeing the fabric I had laid down blowing around in the wind. Fingers crossed this will be the solution. Have a great day!
I am an aspiring flower farmer in the Northwest portion of the US just north of Seattle and I have so much anxiety around providing wedding flowers, although I knew they would be so profitable. Then I came across your channel and have been binge watching your videos! Thank you so much for making them! The last video I watched was your hour long history video! It was so helpful and I loved that you transitioned into just doing DIY wedding flower buckets (brilliant!) I never thought of that! So much less stressful! This video was awesome as well! I only have one question? When the bride come to pick up the flowers how do you keep them in water for the transition? As in do they borrow your buckets or do you inform them to bring their own?
Hey Jess, glad you enjoy the videos! I actually include the buckets, some bring them back, some don’t, however I have been thinking about this lately as I seem to be constantly running short on buckets! I’m thinking of introducing a refundable bucket deposit to encourage couples to return the buckets to me.
Hey Sarah I’ve just come across this video. Just wondered if you’ve gotten an option to ship to the States. Also do you have a beanie or scull cap for the winter. Not sure what you call them there in the U.K.
Love all of the flowers, I would love to know the name of the peachy cosmos? I would love a cap but I live on the US so I'm sure the shipping would be way to much...I still like them tho.
The cosmos is called apricotta, it’s the first time I’ve grown it, but I love it!! Yes I’m sure shipping will be expensive but I will find out and let you all know x
Love your videos, they are always inspiring.
Sarah! The flowers were gorgeous! Loved seeing the fields full of all different flowers! Loved the new branding, as well!
Thank you!!
Thanks!
I can watch you work all day. You have great ideas and great eye with color palate combinations. Beautiful!
I love the merch and the color.
You have the prettiest flowers.

I want to buy a bloom & gray shirt and hat!! Love the logo on the front and back. Loved the color of the hat! From California USA.
Also Sarah have you considered patreon or a UA-cam subscription so we can donate to your videos regularly?
What a beautiful video! Your flowers and farm look amazing!

Hi Wende, yes I will hopefully have a range of colours available. I will keep you all updated on the progress of it 😁
When you’re cutting buckets of flowers for a bride to make her own bouquets how do you figure the cost? Again beautiful buckets of flowers!
They’re just charged at one price, £65 for 65 stems, £1 a stem on average and there’s a mix of all sorts in the bucket 😊
You are doing great job! 👍 maybe I have missed but where did you get paper stand/cutter? Are you happy with it?
Thankyou Sarah. This has cheered me up. I find your videos both therapeutic (I suffer from PTSD) and really informative (I am growing flowers for my daughters wedding in September).

@@bloomandgray Excellent idea! Thank you for sharing! Hope you have a wonderful Sunday!
What are the pink spiky flowers at 8:04?
Hi Sarah, Do you pull your landscape fabric up after each season? Beautiful flowers!
Not normally, but from this season onwards I’m hoping to remove it all and cover crop the field over winter
What greenery did you use please?
Great video. Thanks for sharing. Do you pick the whole stem of bupleurum or just the off-shoots please?
Both depending on the size of the plant and stems!
😍😍😍😍😍😍
Hey Sarah I’ve just come across this video. Just wondered if you’ve gotten an option to ship to the States. Also do you have a beanie or scull cap for the winter. Not sure what you call them there in the U.K.
My merchandise does ship to the states, I haven’t got an option for a beanie but that’s reminded me I should put some on the website!
Such an interesting video, thank you 😊 what’s the plant with the dark purply red leaves?
Looks like amaranth to me. She planted those seedlings in a previous video.
You’re right!
Great! I’ve got some amaranth seedlings growing 🌱

I would love to purchase a hoodie and tshirt they look so soft
They feel lovely! I will be posting to the US. Should be up and running in the next week or two, so I’ll let people know when they’re available 😁
I really look up to you going it alone !
Please could you tell us if your chosen field is profitable.
Also did you get a new skin for your teepee?
I will have to do some maths on this and let you know 😁 I didn’t get a new skin, I just got it repaired. So glad it’s back up again!
What Eucalyptus variety do you have? Curious from zone 7 how yours stay alive year round!
Would love to know how to order merch please.
Wonderful flowers :) What's the variety of flowers in 7:20?
It’s agrostemma. The white one is Milas snow queen.
I thought you said you lived in the UK! What sunlight? lol just kidding :D
