Phenomenal video! I have a 2007 RAV4 and the dealership wants to charge up to $1800 to replace the entire exhaust system. After watching this, I’ll just order the parts and install it myself.
Had to come back here and thank you for this video. By following your steps, I changed my RAV4 cat on a Sunday afternoon. My job took more like 3 hours, but you gave the great tips that I needed. Thanks for taking the time to make such a clear video and for sharing your mechanical expertise with all of us.
Great video. After a friend had a catalytic converter stolen off on her Cavalier I was concerned that someone might steal the one off my 2011 Highlander but not anymore. Her cars converter was easy access but the 06-12 model Highlander the converter is almost imposable to steal simply by jacking the vehicle up and cutting it off.

This is the best video I've ever seen on this subject. Great attention to detail that other videos has skimped on. Awesome work! :)
Excellent video, this was exactly what I needed!
Thank you so much!

I have an '03, will this information be relevant? Is there a different video?
Thank you for the well made and informative video!
Damn this looks easy, nice! Is it the 2GR-FE?
Great video, and thanks for sharing your valuable knowledge. Wondering is it the same as DPF?
I how long do these exhaust manifolds last
Great video thanks
What is the part number
Torque is 26 ft lb
Where did You buy the part, cost and if is good to california
The bracket bolts on mine cat are so tight I couldn't even use a breaker bar to get it off doused half a can on wd40 on tried pb blaster too and still couldn't budge the bolt attached to the cat converter
Ordered the part from 1A Auto, got it fast, did the work, however when completed, I'm having an exhaust leak where the Exhaust Manifold Catalytic Converter Assembly meets the pipe. Not sure what I did wrong, donut gasket is in and spring bolts tightened. Does anyone know a trick to fix it?
It's nice to encounter a woman doing proficient car repairs. The only thing I see wrong maam is I usually oil or wet smaller rags to poke inside exhaust ports to prevent any debris from getting back inside especially if using an Emory cloth sanding block. Otherwise your work is very competent. 👍🤠
Your instructional videos are excellent! Thank you for taking the time to make this!
Amazing how-to! You make it look easy. : ) Methodical work. Excellent details and explanations every step of the way. And great camera work and lighting. What more do you want? Wow!
Is this a DIY job? Can I do that myself? Should I try?
+James Davis Thank you! We love empowering our customers and showing how to perform DIY auto repairs with our high-quality auto parts. This is definitely something that people can do themselves, but it is ultimately up to you to decide!
I cant thank you enough for that helpful video.
You earned a lot of respect from me. You're an excellent teacher and competent mechanic. My hats of to you. God bless you. Well done.
If I have a 2009 V6 rav4 will the procedure be very different?
Is the donut gasket pre-greased? It looks greased.
Thank you awesome work it's not easy to do it myself 👌
Great thanks for the video .
You are amazing on your skills!
