I hope one day to achieve one astrophotography image like yours... a somewhat dream as a pupil. My suggestion was simply as a fan and student wanting to learn... I hope you can understand... Hi chuck
I have a nexstar 4se , im new to the hobby.. i want to get into astrophotography, but im finding it to be very expensive.. ive been calculating the cost of a full setup, and cant get any lower than 5000$ which is way out of my budget.. ive been looking at triplet scopes with fpl 53 glass ( i presume is the best).. can you recommand a scope with a mount that dont cost alot ? it doesnt have to be a triplet .. im interested in galaxies and nebulas
    Thank you

I would call 'High Point Scientific' or OPTCorp. I'm sure they will be able to go over different combinations of equipment for you for your budget.

Canada needs to do something about their forest fires. The last 2 years we've been absolutely inundated with smoke in Washington state. Absolutely ruined the Table Mountain star party last year.

Yes, this was not the first time we were affected. I guess we are downwind.

@@ChucksAstrophotography Yeah, for us it's now clouds all winter and smoke all summer. Beautiful image BTW.
