Vessel is known to be either almost crying, or actually crying, when singing most of the time in these songs. It creates the most intense emotional atmosphere for each song. Worship!
You're such a gem among reaction channels. Isolating certain parts and bringing them forward makes us appreciate the music on a whole other level! It almost feels forbidden to hear the rawness in it's own form be it vocals or instruments. For us who don't know about sound engineering, it really brings us closer to the writers and the message they're conveing. Thank you 🙏 Worship!
Love to see someone not only appreciating the voice and music but the craftmanship behind. This was their first álbum production and it only got better from here. Ypu said it, vessel offers us a piece of his soul and we take it and worship
There is nothing contrived in a Sleep Token song. Everything is about the soul and emotion. All of the elements of the song from the lyrics to percussion is masterfully done and invokes such deep emotions.
It's so incredible that all these sounds are just two people on the actual recordings (added band members for tours). The drummer is so good and Vessel doing everything else, including backing vocals. So talented.
obsessed with the way you break down and isolate parts of the songs when you react, it’s one of my favourite things! can’t wait for more sleep token reactions!
Listening to these isolated tracks is really interesting. Ok, it was already clear to me that Vessel is one of the most expressive singers. And II is simply an animal on the drums. xD I recommend (as always) 'Atlantic' and 'Telomeres' ... because they're just incredible. Thanks for the video, I'd love more. ^^
Really enjoying your reaction technique on how you’re breaking the tracks down. It’s Awesome to get to watch someone enjoy that same feeling I had when I first discovered Sleep Token. They’re’s so much great ear candy and spectrum fillers that they use in their tracks to make everything sound so full. Vessel and Carl Brown truly are brilliant musicians/producer’s. Looking forward to more.
This song love is INCREDIBLE. They somehow manage to grow the last section even bigger and with the harmonizing chorus of the back up singers is just amazing. Truly something to behold and experience. Worship.
Thank you for this great reaction AND analysis. I do not enjoy reactions that don't add anything to the music, no info. It's great to hear the isolated tracks. I love input from your perspective how things have been recorded, etc You probably got the info already that while on stage there are Vessel (vocal, piano), II (drums), III (bass), IV (guitar, back vocals), Espera (backing vocals), in the studio versions it's just II at the drums and Vessel playing everything else. Mindblowing how one person can be so talented. The combination of Vessel as a composing mastermind and II as one of the best drummers at the moment ( in my opinion) is just crazy for me.
Absolutely agree, his vocals can feel so genuine and vulnerable that I believe every word he says and that just engrosses me into the song even more. There’s an aspect of singing that is closer to acting. If Vessel were an actor in a film giving his final goodbyes to a loved one, I would be balling my eyes out. That’s the kind of feeling I get listening to a lot of sleep token’s more emotional songs and it’s my favorite thing they do.
“Our identities are unimportant. Music is marketed on who is or isn’t in a band; it’s pushed. Prodded and moulded into something it isn’t. Vessel endeavours to keep the focus on His offerings.”
This kind of reaction is so refreshing - thank you for such a unique way to appreciate one of my top 5 ST songs (seeing it live was beyond words). Please do more Sleep Token!
“Life is dark. Life is bright. Life is ugly. Life is beautiful. Don’t get lost in genres, they’ll only disorientate you. Music is for everyone.” -Vessel 2017
"Our verses are a token, crafted to magnify and embody the multitude of emotion that writhes in our subconscious. Sonically our voice is rooted in the resonation between the notes and your emotion. Take our hand" Sleep Token
Vessel doesn't care as much about the tone of his voice, as much as he cares about the emotion. I believe it's why he wears the mask; he cries on stage often. Music moves him so deeply.
If you witness the drummer....aka "ll" (2) Deftones early inspired, gospel, ......you must obtain! Here is the link to Drumeo where "ll" not only speaks! But offers .... ua-cam.com/video/FOQJTiIwwEA/v-deo.html
Pouring his soul into the music-- YES -- it is heads and tails above the coveted (crying ) tear in ones voice as the flagship characteristic of vocals. ST is the only music artist in my ears. All other vocalists sound flat, uninspired, unbothered, canned, high pitched, different for being differences sake, etc.

Very excited for this rabbit hole journey!!
It’s so incredible hearing the isolated tracks on here! I’d recommend listening to Higher and especially that drum track. II is absolutely insane 🥰

Best reaction I've seen in awhile. This is awesome, especially the isolated parts.

Vessel and II are incredible. The drums and vocals take the music to another level
Love your reactions! Yeah Vessels vocals are so intense!
Damn, what a fascinating reaction. Amazing hearing everything isolated and then bringing it all back together. Great stuff man.

Pleeease do Descending! That song makes my brain feel nice. That's the only way I can describe it

First 3 seconds. Already love it! Oh just wait. And yes, Vessel is the king of emotion

Came here to "Worship" Welcome to the journey.
I haven't made it this far back in the discography yet, but this is sick. I'm wearing out the last 2 albums first, lol.
❤❤
Please do some live video reactions and then the album. I want to hear “mine” live and the album
Just wait until you see II's drumeo playthru's. They are killer.
Subscribed. 🎉 let’s worship.

If you like him pouring his soul in a song you ain't ready for blood sport and high water 😂 worship 🙏🙏
That piano... That's the same beat and notes as "jaws" isn't it?
... aren't you the guy from Audio Lunch? Did the other dude die?
