I'm from Conway but I'm an ASU alum. This game is my favorite rivalry for obvious reasons. Its always close, and the fan bases are really good to each other. No animosity, just good football. Its one of the most underrated rivalries in the game RN.
If some of your subscribers don't know where to find A-State highlights (for as long as the UA NIL sponsorship runs) can you point them over here maybe?
Rucker is a future Steeler, and I think Central Arkansas should be in the top 5 discussion for the next FCS to move up to the FBS, and clearly they can compete in the SunBelt they would be Arkansas State biggest rival by far.
Thanks for the game highlights. Great game. Ruling on the field was incomplete pass. No catch. Based on history, using video evidence it is always much harder to over turn a call than to confirm a call. There is no video evidence of a catch. He never had control of the ball and his foot was not in bounds. Horrendous mistake. Feel bad for UCA.
red pups gotta play Hogs in Fayettevile next year. (a matchup astate fans have been begging for) UofArk losing LOTS of starters.. itll be interesting! Still likely something like 34-13 Hogs.
The thing hogs fan don't want to admit to is it will be a lot like UCA vs Arkansas State. Going to be a lot of close games, and yes I agree Arkansas will probably win most of the time. That's the funny thing to me, yall have been playing Pine Bluff which is actually pretty much the worst team in the FCS. Arkansas State has been playing UCA which is pretty much one of the BEST teams in the FCS. The year yall lost to western Kentucky, UCA beat the brakes off of Western Kentucky. it's never been a "OHHHH WE ARE BETTER THAN ARKNASAS" thing, it's been the fact you play in the SEC and even you guys don't even win one SEC game everyone else in the state is just garbage. I can admit the SEC is the best conference in football but look at it this way, one time UCA beat Arkansas state and we won 8 FBS football games that year. The wild thing to me is UCA could be a completive sunbelt team and we've won 9 out of the last 10 meetings. I agree the whole idea of playing Arkansas State is terrible for you look at what the sunbelt has done to top 25 teams over the past 10 years, it has ruined entire seasons for them, I really hope the best for the games, it's been really good playing UCA and honestly I don't want I REAL in state rivalry I don't want bad blood, I want a good game every year where yes, a majority of the time Arkansas wins. I just think it's wild when Arkansas fans act like we are light years apart.
@@UPFSonic that is a drop after making contact with the ground. By the updated 2024-2025 rules, he must maintain complete control throughout the process of the catch, INCLUDING making contact with the ground. That would not have been a catch in open field or in the end zone
We're fine. This has always been a close game historically. It's quietly becoming a quality rivalry. This is UCAs super bowl every year. When we play at Estes in Conway,it's always sold out and hostile. A good test. At home,in the J, it's the biggest crowd UCA will see all year. Also, UCA is a top 25 FCS school every year. Very good. We're fine. Tulsa is garbage.
